Likes
- Permanent campus construction is completed. Hostel is very near to academic building. The professors are generally supportive. There is No ragging in this college.
Dislikes
- The campus is a bit small.Also, Bhagalpur is not a metro city so very high quality facilities should not be expected.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very good here and very applicable in the modern world. Programming subjects are included for every branch. The exams are conducted very structurally. There is a mid-sem and end-sem exam each semester.
Internships Opportunities
There are ample internship opportunities in the colleges and there are seniors ready to guide on how to prepare for them. Students get internships in various domains like Web development, data science, artificial intelligence, robotics, etc.
Placement Experience
Generally, placements are started at the end of 3rd year, and companies like Amazon, Autodesk, and many more offer placements to students. Most of the students appearing for placements are successful. The average package for cse is around 15 LPA and for other branches, it's 11-12 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are to be paid just before the commencement of the semester. The scholarship varies according to state and category. Generally, students with income less than 4 or 5 lakh are able to get scholarships from their respective states.
Campus Life
There are various clubs related to many extracurricular activities namely sports, music, art, photography, literature, dance, drama, etc. There are technical clubs too for various domains like web development, AI, robotics, etc. The books in the library are accessible to every student.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are provided from beginning of the course. The hostel is very near to the college. There are 3 students in every room. Each room has a balcony, 3 beds, 3 almirahs, and 3 tables and chairs. The mess food quality is okayish.
Admission
The students have to qualify JEE Main exam to be eligible for the course. The admission process is pretty smooth and the documents required are listed on the college website. The application is done from JoSAA counselling and admission is started a few days after the counseling is over.
Faculty
Faculties are supportive and have good teaching experience. Most of them have completed their degrees from reputed institutes. They are interactive with the students and doubts are generally solved in the class itself.
