What Students Say

Likes

Regular training programs for students to develop technical and communication skills for placement.
Regular conduction of sessional tests to ensure preparation of exams.
The infrastructure of the college is elegent and better than nearby colleges

Dislikes

The management is very strict about attendance and uniform.
There is less focus on sports activities.
The curriculum is less focused on practical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum includes regular training classes in problem-solving, training assessment, verbal ability, logical aptitude, etc. to train students for the placement drives. But talking about the improvement areas, the curriculum is more theory-based and less practical-based. The exams are of moderate level to test the efficiency of students and are conducted once every month.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 593000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees increase every year for new students like in every other college. The total cost of my education is 593000 lakhs. The university exam charges are not included in this. There is no such scholarship or financial aid available to students. Only government scholarships like Pragati and UP scholarships are available.

Campus Life

There is one cultural fest held every year named genero and one tech fest. The genero is typically held in May. The college provides a book bank to students and the library facility is also good and fully air-conditioned. There is one annual sports event utsaah. There are many cultural, dramatic, literary, and coding clubs as well as student welfare clubs.

Admission

You have to score some cut-off from JEE exams which changes every year. Also, there is admission on the basis of merit +jee score. My admission to this college was through counseling of aktu. The application forms are available on the website of the college as well as in the college itself. There is no such reservation in admission.

Faculty

The teachers in my branch are very supportive and try their best to explain student the basic concepts using real-life examples and ppt slides. The faculty-to-student ratio is also very balanced. Additionally, to every 30-35 students, there is a mentor provided for guiding students. Most of the teachers are approachable enough to ask doubts.

I didnt opt for this college as it had poor infrastructure, less near by facilities and ac rooms.

The Placement In all the Branch is really impressive except civil branch , CSE & IT has offer per student placement of 2 to 3 Companies and average package of 5 to 6 lakh, while in ther branches 90% of student get placed with average package og 3.6 lakh , oly civil suffer in placement with only sucess rate og nearly 30%.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

Placement Experience:

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Real Story of SCRIET

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

The placements are very bad in this college...the packages offered to students are very low...about 3lpa on average....number of offers recieved by students is also very less...around 20% students get placed that too at very less packages

I chose this college as it was among the top 5 colleges of the University in the NCR region. It was established in 2000, and some of my seniors also recommended me. It was good compared to other colleges in the region in terms of placement, infrastructure, academics, and accessibility, which would have been different had I opted for other colleges at that time.
