I opted for the Engineering course as I was already versed in Java coding. The curriculum prepares students for the development side but It's not that effective when it comes to data structures and dynamic programming which I had to learn in my own from YouTube. The exams are held in 3 stages, MST-1, MST-2 and final EST and it becomes to manage assignments when they are given one day prior to the exams which is major drawback of the academic management.

The campus placements start from the 6th semester itself and go on till the last. Numerous companies visit the college for recruiting young engineers. The average package this year is like 550000 but it depends on the market and the year as this year we are seeing a lot of recession going on. 60-70% of the students get placed and the university also provides opportunities and training for UPSC, government exams and PHD courses.

Tuition fees do not change be over the course of years. This is true for both academic and hostel fees. Students can avail scholarship by giving the CUCET exam and this scholarship is valid only if you keep your cgpa above 7.5, if your cgpa drops below 7.5 then the scholarship will be automatically cancelled. As for financial aid Students need to talk with the management at the Department of student welfare.

The infrastructure is good, there is fresh and clean water provided and the washrooms are best and tidy. Food courts are available where on can get food readily but they are somewhat costly that why i personally preferred to eat outside the campus. You can get books in any library as each block has its library and all of them are well maintained and furnished. Labs are there for academic purposes where students can get all the practical knowledge they need.

The are for Hostels for boys is large and green. Don't opt for the 4 seater rooms as they are not spacious. I opted for the 5 seater one which was good and spacious. The good in the hostel mess is way above any other college and it's good. The veg items are great but I personally didn't find the chicken to be eatable at all. The registration process for the hostel is done along with the admission process and the hostel fees are paid in advance on one year basis. There are ethernet cables in some hostels for free wifi but speed is not that good.

The admission process was smooth. Students need to deposit a fee of 10k first as security which is adjusted in the first semester fees when the admission is confirmed. First years are trained on numerous subjects which includes a mixture of mechanical computer science and civil engineering.

The faculty to student ratio is good and if any student wants help in respect to any subject, he/she can get it very easily. The teachers specially new recruits are approachable and they understand the student problems from our perspective. Students can interact with teacher by waiting or speaking to them directly inside the faculty room provided on each floor.
