Likes

The college is located in a huge area along with tge medical, Arts, Nursing colleges
The college provided us with the latest Ipad for study purpose and also have a iMac club
It has a cafteria near the college and another one near the gate

Dislikes

The food is kinda average and most probably u would be earing from the cafteria rather than the Mess

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum am studying is From 2021 but the new ones joining woukd be getting the most updated one. U would get a bunch of books but everything comes with a soft copy so most of us doesn't even remove the plastics

Internships Opportunities

Students are told to enroll in Linked in and most of the students go by that way. But the college also have tie ups with companies which make the students helps in enrolment. There are with stipend or without one.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships coukd be availed according to ur Grades from either SRMJEE or 12 th grade marks. To complete 4 years the total amount would be 8 Laksh without hostel fees. Hostel fee is 70k and mess fees is like 55k.

Campus Life

The college is kinda good but the management acts in the early 90s way and typical. So if you have good friends its kinda enjoyable there are events coming up and lot of guest lectures come and gives lectures on different field

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good but the only problem is the food. But its a common thing in every college and also those who joins a hostel should not expect world coass food. There is a gym coming up and a common hall on each floor.

Hostel Fee: INR 125000 per year

Admission

The exam is called SRMJEE which is a online based examination which has constant AI monitoring I wrote the 3rd phase a secured a rank below 1000 which gave me a 25% scholarship from the course fee. The exam is kinda easy for someone who has average scores in physics, mathematics and chemistry

Faculty

There are like 6 floors and the first 4 floors have students studying in the CSE departments with each class consisting of 60 students. Both hostellers and Day scholars. As you could not expect every Teachers to be good there are teachers whom you would like and also dislikes its upto each one.

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

MY COLLEYE LIFE

Placement Experience:

They start conducting interviews after completing the 6th semester. At least 6 companies come for the campus placement like tech Mahendra, TCS, and manufacturing companies like sakthi auto-complete, tata motors, etc. They placed a minimum of 150000 per aum. The percentage of students getting placements is 30%. Get a job in a reputed company.

I applied for JIIT-Noida, SNU Noida but due to non preferrable branches i was getting i opted out and thought of giving SRMJEEE. No i didn't got rejected from the above mentioned colleges, just because i was not getting the desired branch , i left. Just SRM things

The university which i applied before SRM University was Chandigarh University, i wrote cucet exam and got 30-40% scholarship, but later i cancelled going over there because the campus life over there is very stressed and the faculties are not so well trained in some fields, the fee structure was quite higher compare to srm even after writing its scholarship exam and the last reason was travelling to North side and meeting my family rarely, so i decided not to go there and wrote srmjee exam.
