Course Curriculum Overview

Engineering related subjects are taught in this college. I have done electrical engineering from this College. All the curriculums of each of the department are best. These curriculums are best enough to get a good job and advance in field you want to.

Placement rate are poor in this college. You have to work hard by yourself to get job after completing the course in this college. Generally 2-3 lpa are offered in this college. After completing the course in this college you can start preparing for government job and ofcampus placements.

It is a semi government college so tution fees are normal in range. A average middle class family can afford this college. If you are under reservation category and local resident of jharkhand then you will get all your tution fee through a scholarship known as e- kalyan.

Campus life is good in this college. Hostels are provided with good condition. Mess is there in the campus so there is no need of anyone to go outside for eating. Playground are provided where you can play. Both outdoor and indoor game facilities are there.

Hostel room are good. Basic facilities are provided in the hostel. Hostel charge is 15000 per year in this college. In a single room there will be 3 students. Outdoor locality is a village. You can find pg outside the college under 1200-1500 per month.

The admission in this college is done through the jceceb counseling, that is conducted by jharkhand government. The jceceb counseling is done on the basis of jee mains score. As it is a semi government college,you can also take direct admission in this college by talking with the admission cell of this college.

Faculty

Each department has sufficient number of faculties. Most of the faculty have done Mtech and some of have done Phd. The best part is that you can interact with the faculties at any time during the academic hours and after the academic hour also.

NIT JSR College Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belongs to Civil Engineering, so, based on that the course curriculum is good. They teaches most of the things in classroom, and even they concern more about GATE examination. Faculty Help students solve GATE examination Questions in classroom. They take mid semester and end semester examimation in very semester but along with this some faculty take class test, Viva for practicals.

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

We become eligible for campus placements after 7th semester that ends in December. The fourth year students go for placements while the second and third year students take part for internships and PPOs. There were many huge companies that came in this campus placement season. Some of them were - Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Accenture, Squarepoint capital, Exonnmobile, Texas instruments, ONGC, PhonePe, Intel , Sprinkle, Bajaj auto, etc. The highest offer made was by Squarepoint capital worth 66 LPA. The highest no. Of offers were from Microsoft, 16 in number. The average package CTC was 25.48 LPA. Many students also got places through PPOs and offcampus offers too. I am pursuing B.Tech. in mining engineering so my future plan after getting the degree is to go for PSUs.

Several companies comes to our college for campus placements. Companies like Byju's, Cognizant, Reliance, Wipro are the top recruiters. A BTech CSE student was given ?10 Lakh per annum package. The average package of the BTech CSE course given is around ?650000. Around 80% students gets placed in my course. After the completion of my course is to pursue the master degree in technology I e. Management need to pay more attention on encouraging sports and should spend more funds on maintaining a good lab facilities . Attempt should be made to call companies for placement , rather than relying on main campus

AFFORDABLE EDUCATION WITH SCOPE FOR GROWTH

i applied for several other colleges like heritage haldia and some of in west bengal also in bit sindri and also i get a seat in ece branch of haldia institute of technology but when it comes to the fees it was too high as i earlier mentioned it was like 14 to 15 lacs all over and it was non affordable for my family cause my father is a farmer and in off season he runs a shop our monthly income is about 8 to 10000 ruppes. ofcourse the other colleges are good and in comparison to my college they are very good but again the reason i choose this collge because of affordability also there is no issue of daily attendance if you have good bond with faculty so i get a very good time for self study and GATE preparation so this best fits for me. actually i was preparing for NDA but didn't shorlisted in interview and it was my attempt in drop year after 12 th so i has no age left for NDA so i decided to prepare for jee in december and it was very short time so i prepared a bit and got landed with 82 percentile and then dropped in this college with free tution free waiver seat in cse branch. for admission you have to apply for jcece counselling and then you have to choose your preference order with collges and course and accoroding to your rank you will alloted a seat then after you have to come here with all documents like 10 th makrksheet 12 th marksheet and more personal documents like aadhar card seat allotment letter etc the college admisson cell will verify and after paying the allotment fees they will confirm you seat....Read More
