AFFORDABLE EDUCATION WITH SCOPE FOR GROWTH

i belong from cse branch so the course is good the specific aspects that influenced me to join this course is having programing operating sytems and lot of tech things and i am tech enthusiast so i choose it. it includes dsa , digital electronics , in maths calclus , linear algebra vector , dbsm etc. so this all allign with my interest. In context of real world application i would say this is bit outdated cause we all know ai is taking over so there is need of some inovative way to do this cause these are the basics and ofcourse they are important but the fact the who train also put the baics in ai database so we need to work collabaritavely with ai but our course or curriculum is not doing this we are still get studied in whiteboards who does this in ai era so there should be more tech things introduce in our course like generative ai or something. difficulty level is medium of exam i say if anyone just study one month before exam he can get 7 to 8.5 cgpa easily and ofcourse teaching method should be more in computer scree rather explaning only concepts is white board.

after 7 th semester we are eligible for placement a very companies come here to visit cause earlier some of companies comes here but they don't get quality student so they just stop to coming here however for palcement top candidates are selected and sent to tecno india kolkata as this college is managed by tecno india group where after interview they got placement so if you have good knowledge and coding skills may be you got a interview call some companies like acceture and wipro comes here the ece branch and cse branch got some placements. i don't know the exact numbers but in last year around 25 offers was made among which the most paying was 9 lacs per annum secured by a senior name harsh dwivedi from cse branch here's the profile linkedin. com/in/harsh-dwive di-208b00228/. most of the students from opt for higher studies or psus through GATE and my objective is also same opting for M.TECH.

there are three type of seats allocated to students here first is tution fee waiver seat whose yearly academic fess is 12000 ruppes then free seat whose yearly fees is 20000 ruppes and then payment seat whose fees is 77000 approximately. Also scholarship is provided to each student of all seat category through e kalyan a jharkhand goverment scholarship. also if anyone want to live in hostel then yearly hostel fees is 21000 and mess fees is 3600 per month which adds up to 43200 yearly hostel fee and mess fee is same for all seat students. The scholarship is given on the bonafide basis of every student accoroding to their seat type their bonafide is made basically it is a official document provided by college that in a year how much amount you have to pay to college this is basically sum of hostel academic mess and extraciruclar activity fees then we have to submit it in e kalyan website with some other personal document and if approved around half of the bonafide amount we get as scholarship. and if you don't live in hostel then bonafide of academic fees will be form in that situation your living cost in outside is not be added cause you are not paying this to college. the college campus is small but there are around 4 clubs here mainly AARAMBH the robotics club, IPR it is more concerned about hackathons and providing the collge festivals funds from make association with geeksforgeeks and google devlepor club and the BIS and in last the social club NSS which is responsible for managing all cultural activities. the annual festival related to tech is ANNUAL TECHFEST MANTHAN but it doesn't held from last session the other fetivals includes all the cultural festivals like visvakarma puja , ganesh chaturthi, karma pooja etc. instead of this in around duration of 2 to 3 months 1 to 2 inter college hackathon is organized some bootcamps also happens. library is very clean and peaceful place and a good range of book is available. ANNUAL SPORTS happens every year in month of june basketball court volleyball court , table tennis , badminton court are present in campus. also there is a student portal called rec student portal is also available for students provides pyqs, exam notices, holiday notices etc. all the clubs are run by student co-ordinator also post hierarchy is there for smooth conduction with every a teacher in charge is associated with it .

i applied for several other colleges like heritage haldia and some of in west bengal also in bit sindri and also i get a seat in ece branch of haldia institute of technology but when it comes to the fees it was too high as i earlier mentioned it was like 14 to 15 lacs all over and it was non affordable for my family cause my father is a farmer and in off season he runs a shop our monthly income is about 8 to 10000 ruppes. ofcourse the other colleges are good and in comparison to my college they are very good but again the reason i choose this collge because of affordability also there is no issue of daily attendance if you have good bond with faculty so i get a very good time for self study and GATE preparation so this best fits for me. actually i was preparing for NDA but didn't shorlisted in interview and it was my attempt in drop year after 12 th so i has no age left for NDA so i decided to prepare for jee in december and it was very short time so i prepared a bit and got landed with 82 percentile and then dropped in this college with free tution free waiver seat in cse branch. for admission you have to apply for jcece counselling and then you have to choose your preference order with collges and course and accoroding to your rank you will alloted a seat then after you have to come here with all documents like 10 th makrksheet 12 th marksheet and more personal documents like aadhar card seat allotment letter etc the college admisson cell will verify and after paying the allotment fees they will confirm you seat.

in total there is 20 plus faculty although i don't know the exact number but plenty of teachers here also ther are around 700 students here cause there are 4 branches here among them around 250 to 300 resides in hostel and remaning in lodges or nearby rooms. faculties are good but some are not that much dedicated towards student education they just come in class and go but there are plenty of good facultis like rupam pal sir , asheem sir , priyaranjan singh sir cause they are dedicated to theier fields and students too they take class regulary and provide notes too having a good knowledge. there are some faculties who are not that much active but i have no issue with anyone cause i believe to be self independent rather blaming or not liking anyone. there are 8 semester each semester is conducted by jharkhand university ofo technology and before each semester two mid semester is taken by college in total 70 marks is from semster and 30 marks from college internal including labs, midsem , project ,attendance etc. there are plenty of students got back in some paper specially maths and mechanics this because of their lack of awarness as they just enjoying the whole year and study before one night but yes the math faculty is new and less experience for now. the exam is medium level.

no i didn't have to face any interview or anything like that the admisson process was solely based on my jee rank through jharkhand jcece counselling and i got seat in computer science and engineering branch in my first round so i go for it.

for the first year student gate colsing time is 6pm and it is decided by our seniot for other year it is about 8 pm after 6 pm first year student are not allowed to roam in collegge campus there is a canteen provides all necessary daily items also a fast shop associated with canteen is present the college campus is small so nothing much to explore but the location of college is in very good place in context of natural beauty from hostel roof you can see the train passing by the large mountains surrounding the collge and in rainy days it feels awesome and during monsoon all the fields turns in green with paddy looks amazing also it is situated near ranch 45 kms from the college. in night we often enjoy in our dormatories as we are first year with our batchmates by watching moveies.
