My experience at IGNTU AMARKANTAK

I have interest in biology so I chose biotechnology as my career option the demand of biotech expert are also increasing so I thought to choose this course. More experimental methods should be used for teaching more no. Of practicals should be done. Semester wise exams are taken 2 end semester exam in a year and 2 internal examination in every semester. The difficulty level of the examination is moderate.

The tution fee are fixed for my course it is 3200 for a year which is very low. The complete cost my education in this college is of Rs. 39,850 for a year which includes exam fees (500 per semester), hostel fees (3250 for a year) and mess fees (2700 per month ) these are compulsory charges. For MP students who belongs to SC, STand OBC category can apply for scholarship provided by state government the amount of scholarship is decided by the government after filling the form. Their is no campus employment facility available.

Overall experience is good. Many cultural feasts are organised like Kerala feast, North East feast etc. In this university people come from different different states which gives us opportunity to interact with those people with different culture and language. The Library facility is available in campus where you can access any book. Classrooms are fully furnished and smart classes are also available. Sports is the only extracurricular activity offered in the campus sports complex is also in the campus for sports.

In a hostel room 3 to 4 students live and each one get an almirah, a bed, a chair and a study table wi fi facility is also provided in the hostel. Reading room, yoga hall and gym facility is also available in the hostel. Daily cleaners come to clean the hostel and toilets. The quality of the meal we get is average but the menu of the breakfast needs to be changed. After getting admission a Google form is uploaded on website which we have to fill after that a list of selected students for hostel is released then the student have to come to the hostel and do the further process of filling the hostel form and pay the fees which is Rs 3250 for a Year.

Any 12th pass student from science stream can apply. Admission is taken through CUET exam whose application start during February or march. This exam takes place once in a year with moderate difficulty level of exam.

Faculty to student ratio is 40:1 which is good that's why they can focus on each and every student and faculties are so good they are experts of their field. Every faculty is supportive uses advanced technology for teaching. One can easily approach the faculty during college time and can interact with them.
