Course Curriculum Overview :

The notes gives are pretty good. The clubs and the events by them prepare us for a proper career. The teachers also provide proper PDF notes for reference. The exam timings as of COVID disruptions are chaotic which hopefully gets fixed soon.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement are available. Companies like TCS and UST hold placement programs. Students are selected based on their skills and CGPA. CGPA of above 8 is recommended by the faculty. Average package from UST is around 2-3 lakh per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I'm not sure about the hike policy. But for students with scholarship who fail in exams may end up losing the scholarship. The yearly fee for general student is around 1,24,000 for computer science and engineering.

Campus Life :

Annual Fests include tech fests and arts fest. The art fest Vipanchika is the first one we got to experience. Clubs like Tinkerhub and IEEE are available. Social programs like NSS and Yuva are also organised. Sports are also held between colleges.

Hostel Facilities :

3 People per room. Air conditioning is not available. First years have a separate hostel which is inside the college compound itself. Food at the cafeteria is good. It is clean and well kept. Menu changes almost every month. Very affordable fees for food and hostel.

Admission :

Passing +2 with at least 75% in PCM subjects and qualification in any entrance exam JEE or KEAM. There are reservations available.Registration is available online and it's usually open the months after +2 classes end.

Faculty :

Faculty are very professional, well qualified for their roles. Every class has projectors which are used effectively to teach. Most of the lecturers have PhDs is their subjects. The staff in and around campus are very kind and well mannered. You can approach the teachers regarding any doubts at anytime.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
