- Kacheri Malika is a three-storey building situated in the heart of the campus. In the beginning of 19th Century, this was a European Bungalow . From 1811-1896, it was used as a Zilla court of the Travancore state build in AD 1811 by rani lakshmi bai
- The mango tree situated in front of the administrative block was planted by Mahatma Gandhi during his visit to the college in 1925&There is a chapel situated behind the Kacheri Malika. The chapel was designed by Rev George Edward Hubbard in Feb 1940

Dislikes
- The education system of mg University still holding higher secondary syllabus including 2 subjects of English and a second language ,in the first year and second year there is only 2 core and complementary subjects each reducing the quality of course
- Internship programmes , intellectual sessions are very less compared to many other colleges.For students, it's a chance to gain real-world experience beyond classrooms. While class projects and observations help,so it's important to ensureinternships
- Today, teachers are not just lecturers, but guides; and students are not just listeners, but co-explorers of knowledge.Thus, teaching skills have also evolved, with more techniques available for teachers to use.They should accept this modern way
Course Curriculum Overview
A history bachelor's degree is a voyage through human experiences , culture and time This discipline develops historical comprehension and sharpens analytical abilities that are useful in a variety of professional settings. Even while the road isn't always easy, a history bachelor's degree may lead to a variety of professional options.I am currently pursuing a 3 year bachelor's in history and a 3 year diploma in archaeology and museology as an add on course after this i can work as an archaeologist, teacher, or tutor, or continue my education by enrolling in an MA in History programme/ MA in archaeology /museology leading to a job in archaeological survey of India as an archaeologist

Union Christian College Aluva is one among the few colleges with a wonderful legacy of more than 100 years of acedmicsIt is one of the earliest colleges in India to be established and managed by Indian Christians. It was founded in 1921 by four young graduates and teachers of Madras Christian College - Prof. K. C. Chacko, Prof. C. P. Mathew, Prof. V. M. Ittiyerah, and Prof. A. M. Varki. Admission
Mahatma Gandhi University conducts admissions to the numerous UG programmes in the affiliated colleges are effected through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) adhering to all the norms. the eligibility for ug courses is 12 form any recognized board of education approved by government of India .
