Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The elective subjects in 6th semester excited me the most when I saw the curriculum. It had a list of 11 12 subjects and every individual was given 3 choices. After 5 semester almost everyone somewhat knew what subjects interests them the most so elective subbjects in 6th semester helped everyone focus on the subjects they wanted to pursue in future. I would suggest the department takes out the girls to Jaipur and Delhi regularly for seminars and programmes for overall holistic development as the campus is restricted one. I liked the frequency and timing of exams and the difficulty level was fine.

Fees and Financial Aid

I would say that the tution fee was high compared to the technologies available for us. The cameras and computer labs weren't enough for almost 400 girls of JMC department from every year. There are several scholarships available. Although it's a long process as you don't get the information easily but they do provide scholarships in various categories. Only 1 comapny Dainik Bhaskar came to our college for campus placements and two were selected. So I would say that it wasn't much of a help as we were on our own.

Campus Life

4

There were several fests that happened in the campus throught my stay. Mayukh, Karvaan, Janus and several more. Sports festival is organised every year and all the hostels are divided into groups. social and cultural activties happen. There's a gym, swimming pool, horse riding ground, aviation ground, indoor activities courts. The best thing that you don't have to pay extra for these except for aviation. even if you are a beginner you can join any activity you want every semester.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The new hostels are damn good. There are two seater and three seater rooms in every hostel and single seater in some hostels although they are reserved for specific courses like phd and masters. There is a mess in every hostel and you get breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening snack with tea. The hostels are well equiped with fans, tables, cupboards and beds for every student. There was nothing such as registration process for hostel as every girl has to stay in campus only. I stayed in Shree Shanta Nigam and three more hostels for short duration.

Admission

The admission process was quite easy. I got admission during lockdown so there were no entrance exams or interview. I got admission on the basis of my 12th marks. I think the number of seats should be fixed.

Faculty

3

I would say my learning experience was pretty good. However I felt that technical qualifications were not there and also the practical sessions could have been more so that all the 100+ girls benefit from the classes.

Remarks:

The college is running like a private corporate organization. But as they provide education services, we thought to believe they will be helpful, and offer us quality education, but they failed in providing quality education. The management is biased, your practical number can vary if you are not a chamcha of the faculty. You can achieve excellent marks by licking some boots. Jaipur national university is running with a motive to earn money. They do invite famous Bollywood star to increase the popularity. The university is purely PR gimmick.
