Remarks

Infrastructure ,people over there and also facilities are good. but at the time of event like techno or personal events like fresher's party or farewell part time should be increase last 10 we want. And second thing is JNU provide much options for spots so that we can give time in that also in free lectures or after 3.specific are for badminton or other sports is required.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Its quite good.as I am media student so we have 30% of theory knowledge and 70% of practical knowledge like we have deal with the equipments like the console ,mice, camera ,Mac for editing purpose so they have everything which we needed for our purpose.and 30% of theory contains heavy material not by their quantity but with quality. All books are available in our central library so we do not have any kind of problem related to books.

Internships Opportunities

No they will not provide any internship as in Media department but yes if we want them to help they definitely helps the students to get internship with their approaches.but during internship the company we select to go they will not provide any stipend but yes they provide certificate definitely.

Placement Experience

3

Placement drives are almost comes for MBA students and Btech students OR BCA students.as m in media department news agencies and Public relations agencies or company came for the placement.we need radio to come and drive us.

College Events

3

One major event is organized in one yr.that is technoraaz in which they invite other colleges as well.the various activies they conduct for the students of all departments of JNU in which all students of JNU of every deptmnt can participate easily and its good platform to show our talents with the whole JNU and other calleges too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its moderate.not feasible not expensive.every department have their own fee structure according to their course.some of the departments like Btech ,law ,mediacal they have obviously very high fee which is not easy to afford for some ppl.but for any other department it is moderate.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Not much idea about this.I mean if we got gold medal in our bechelors or masters then we have obviously good opportunities ahead to go with so this one is plus point for us as a students.other than that JNU provides global exchange programs for the students so that they can go abroad only for one sem and grab wonderful opportunity to study of intern in reputed colleges and companies with extra fee.

Campus Life

3.5

They are very good. labs are fantastic which contains all the equipments which is required for their according to their course but ducting or ac should be there.and for sports we want specific area like for different different sports.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Good with all facilities like water ,labors, ducting in summers ,clean washrooms etc.and warden is much caring and supporting well behaved we can say that.she knows her duty very well but the food is that much higenic that harms students sometimes.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes are really helpful and always ready to help.as they work in different reputed companies so they inspire us to work like them even much better than them so its like highly greatful for us to have seniors like them.they are really very supportive and kind by their nature.

Exam Structure

It's excellent.like we have to give first 2 mid terms in one semwsterwhich include module 1 and 2 from sllyabus and then they conduct the final exams for per semester.this runs for every semester.and I think this is good practice to fight with main semester or final exams.

Admission

Firstly they asked for your documents,by document I mean asked for mark sheets of 10 th 12th ,they check the students capabilities according to their skills and what course they are going for to do bachelors they asked why u want to go in that course what motivates you to came here.then they they permit student to visit campus and meet HOD of their deptmnt then HOD will take personal interview then if student selects then they have to registered themselves.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty are very good here they each and everything related to course and our problems too.we can share anything with them easily without any hesitation.the u derstanding between the teachers and the students is excellent.they are of very frank nature and mature to handle us.and always ready to help in anyway either internship purpose or some other manner.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The designed syllabus is too good. It creates the balance in our study. We take practical knowledge there. There are some equipment which we can use for real world knowledge. They can improve in graphics & video editing structures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum we follow is quite basic and easy to understand. We usually complete our syllabus prior to the exam period as it leaves the time for revisions and extra practise. The teaching methods should be more practical according to our course though.

College does offer campus placements as far as I know rest depends on you weather you want to sit for on campus placements or not. Companies like Microsoft , Amazon, TCS , Mahindra , Zee news, aaj tak do visit the college for placements. Around 60 percent of the students get placed . From 5 semester they become eligible for placements

Placement Experience:

As you must be aware that the Journalism and Mass Communication course requires a lot of fieldwork and knowledge to be eligible to uphold placements and excel in your skills. The placements depend upon the number of skills you have, what all fieldwork you have, and what all are you willing to optimistically learn and put into action. Students can start interning in their respective interest fields from the 2nd year as in the 4th Semester and by the end of the 5th Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. 60% of students get placed in good production houses or marketing and advertising firms as per their capabilities and some of the renowned production houses that come for placements are Dainik Bhaskar, Byjus, Rajasthan Patrika, Fist India TV, etc. I did sit for placements and was offered an internship training at Dainik Bhaskar as a content writer with a stipend of Rs. 30,000 and a permanent job after completion of training but I refused it as I wanted to do Masters.

From 3rd year. The students get plenty of offers for the campus placements. The average package is 6 LPA. About 55% of students getting placements in the one go. I am going to be a writer and create my own youtube channel and work as an anchor to fulfil my own dream.
