Remarks

The college is running like a private corporate organization. But as they provide education services, we thought to believe they will be helpful, and offer us quality education, but they failed in providing quality education. The management is biased, your practical number can vary if you are not a chamcha of the faculty. You can achieve excellent marks by licking some boots. Jaipur national university is running with a motive to earn money. They do invite famous Bollywood star to increase the popularity. The university is purely PR gimmick.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Major Subject are development communication, photojournalism, advertising, public relations, video editing, film production, photography, pr writing. The requirement of the subjects is practicals. But there are no practical done by the college throughout my three years, and They teach us video editing on a blackboard. No brainstorming classes- just nothing. Writing is a significant part of journalism. But there were no writing assortments given by the college. The syllabus is absurdly arranged. The project topics are also irrelevant. The biggest loophole is that they don't provide practical classes and even not allowed students to do practically. They want a student to sit in a class for the sake of 75% attendance rule.

Placement Experience

0.5

Internship - You have to do it on your own. I recommend you to do it on summer vacation, as there is no internship provided by the college. If you go for NOC for working or internship, they will not provide you that also. One company visit for content writing profile. But as the college did not teach us anything about creative writing, they did not hire anyone.

College Events

2.5

Tech No Raj! Celebrity Movie promotion Photo - raj! Events were okay. I once visit Manipal, LMNIT college fest, in comparison to that. Tech-No raj is nothing. I only attend the college fest one time. I don't find the event worth it to attend for next time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

BJMC tuition fees - approx( 2.5 lack) Hostel fees- 1.2 lakh( per year) Don't take admission by taking a student loan. As college doesn’t provide any placement, the loan will become a burden on you. account department- Slow, they will make you stand in 4 Celsius for hours to get you a receipt. The system is bizarre - you can fill the fees online, but you have to take a receipt from the accounting department to sit in an exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

They do provide a scholarship. Maximum up to 10k. 5k cheque scholarship for those who score 75+ in their 12th. And 10k for the year topper.

Campus Life

2

The campus is not wow, specially BJMC department. The iron chair, dirty walls, unhygienic water are some issue that never gets resolved. The college campus does not justify the fees and the private university standards. They don’t even update the library books.

Alumni/Alumna

I ain't in contact with anyone, so I can't say much. All are my connection on social media. They all are working on a good post or either pursuing post graduation.

Admission

It was too simple. Anyone can take admission in BJMC course without making any entrance exam. You just need to have money to pay the fees and 12th mark sheet. Well in my experience, I decide the college through the website, then visit the college-JNU and choose to take admission in it.

Faculty

3.5

Senior faculties are good and take classes on current topics, gives us instruction on how to enhance our skills but, because of the irrelevant workload, pressure from the hierarchy system, they can't help us in practice. On the other hand, some faculties are naïve and just post-graduate pass out- they do drama in class.

Got the reviews from the internet which was pretty good.. And the admission process wasn't hard. Their online procedures are also quite simple. The college has a good name in the education market and has a good environment a student can be in. It's a great college to build your education base.
