Likes

I liked the greenery and area in the college.
I liked the single room provided in the hostel.
I also like the swimming pool in the college.

Dislikes

Professor does not give good grades easily.
Administration is not very supportive for students.
Fest is not held regularly, hardly 1 fest happen in a year.

Course curriculum is not very hectic but this course will not help you for placement and curriculum does not provide any real world application. professor should teach those things that help in real world application.

Internships Opportunities

Students of ABV-IIITM are eligible for internship of this course from 7th semester on campus. Hardly 4-6 company come for summer internship opportunity naming DE Shaw , Cultfit ,Media.net , etc. you have to stay here for btech project after 6th semester in summer.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placement in their 9th semester of college. Also you are eligible for internship opportunity in college in your 7th semester. In 2024batch around 80 percents students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution Fees of iiitm per semester is 78575 including hostel. And mess fees of abviiitm is 16000. the complete cost for this ipg mtech course is around 10 lakh. You can avail scholarship from state government like up scholarship and also from nsp portal.

Campus Life

In this abv iiitm college annually a cultural fest name auroro is held every year. Also urja is a sport fest that held every year in the month of November. And if you are good in sport you can go for inter iiit sport competition.

Hostel Facilities

Personally I felt hostels are good because you get single which maintains your privacy also in summer you can buy cooler and get relief from heat . Meal quality is not upto the mark if you get mohan ka message then you have to prepare for disease.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of this course is 75% in 12th exam of cbse or top 15 percent in state merit list. Also you have to score around 99 percentile in jee mains. Afte this you have to go for jossa counselling to complete the admission process.

Faculty

Course curriculum in this college is not very hectic. And the workload is not very hectic during semester you can earn decent grade after studying in last hour.faculties teachings are more theoretical rather than practical.

The college placement is quite average upto 14 15 lakh.there are so many companies like Infosys. Etc visited for placement every year. Students became eligible for internship in 5th semester and wil get placement in 4th year.i planned to became successful software engineer.

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

The other colleges that I applied to were: IIIT Lucknow in which i was getting B.Tech in computer science and some private colleges.
