Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum covered all corners of architecture and in depth learning of softwares.The experts from other organisations were came to provide software knowledge.Many Alumnus will provide expert series.

Internships Opportunities

For internship you have prepare portfolio with your academic works and have to apply for the architecture firms around the world.The internship period will be about 6 months where you will gain more Knowledge about the field.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is mostly affordable.They provide recession for First graduates of the family.There will be concessions for the students who have achieved in sports during their school days.There is separated quota for NRI.

Campus Life

There will symposiums organized by departments.There will be annual sports meet and cultural meet.International conferences will be held randomly.There are organisations run by the students of the campus like NCC,NSS,etc.

Admission

For this admission u should get pass mark in the NATA or JEE Paper 2 and You should get pass mark in the 12th or Diploma in respective branch.The application method will be through counselling.The students who get higher marks will be seated.

Faculty

There were enough faculties compared to the ratio of the students.They were highly experienced with great practical knowledge and with high software skills.Their way of teaching makes students learn easier.

Beyond your limits

Placement Experience:

Students can become eligible in their 8th semester which is also called PPO (Pre Placement Offer) where the number of students getting placed are very low or the students can get their placements in their 10th semester. L&T, Sanjaypuri architects, Zaha Hdid architects are the few companies that I know. In general there are 10-20 offers made. The highest package offered is 18LPA and average is 5.5LPA as per the latest data. 78-85 percent students get placed and the other 15 percent opt for further studies. Currently I'm not sure with my plan but I may do master degree.

Architecture amidst serene greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.

ONE OF THE BEST CAMPUS AMONGST ALL NITs. NIT TRICHY.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.

PMIST: Best Private college in Thanjavur

Pros: this college has a well-maintained infrastructure. The surrounding is very good. The teachers are well qualified and supportive of students. They try to help students to the best way they can. Canteen facilities and hostel facilities are also well maintained. Cons: this college lacks in placement offers. Placements are there but they are not satisfactory. Also, the major language used in the college is Tamil though teachers teach in English only it is a little difficult for other state students those who don't understand Tamil. The admission process is smooth. They don't charge anything extra. You can apply for it online as well as offline. This college is one of the best colleges in Thanjavur. Bus facility is also there. Positive - The Library. It is dumped with more than 82k books. With digital library and fantastic reference section. Play ground, gym etc well equipped and nicely maintained. Nice wifi connectivity. Canteen with nominal rate any one could afford. Entrepreneur we have TBI for young Entrepreneurs fully functioning. Negative - Staff have to update or read books before they come to class.
