Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was initially really interested in the course that was offered but by the end of my course, I realized we were not quite prepared to compete with the other students of the same course in different states. The course needed to be more inclusive of various important papers, along with that it should have been planned in a way that students of this University should be able to compete on national level exams. It also should have included topics were application of the concept being taught should have been encouraged. It was good for someone not wanting to explore other courses or Universities though.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement opportunities that were offered to us were mostly by MNCs. There were very few opportunities for fields other than B.Com. courses. The package usually was of about 4- 6 lpa. There was a separate club for it. There could be placements for other courses as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was affordable. It did hike after each semester. They did not (as far as I am aware) provide any scholarships. The entire cost for 1 year was approximately 50,000 with extras here and there. Payment was allowed to be paid in installments as well.

Campus Life

3.5

The overall campus life was good. We had many activities, Competitions, Sports events too. Along with that we also had fest each year. There were about 10 clubs for various interests from which a few of them were really beneficial. The library also was clean, well organized with mostly textbook options. It was not accessible all the time, it mostly had restrictions. For sciences, there were mostly only textbooks from local authors and did not include many competitive exam books.

Admission

There was no entrance exam for me. There was a small interview session though. It was conducted by the faculty and I was asked about the previous education and general things. The faculty discussed various aspects of college. I was also provided with a list of rules to be followed.

Faculty

4

The faculty-student ratio was quite fine as there were enough faculty for the number of students in each class. The faculty was well qualified with good experience and were very supportive. Their approach needed to be a little more practical and realistic that mostly theoretical. The student teacher interaction was very good, They were available most of the time and were quite approachable. They were understanding and encouraging of the interaction.

Interview Experience

3

I only faced a personal interview round with the teachers. It was mostly focused on general information about me and about my previous educational background. They also made sure I understood the rules and schedule of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the bsc(MSCS) because i have interest on the physics and its related topics so, this made me to choose this course and i felt it was best. The course curriculum was well structured and prepared me for the real-world applications and their development. This was much useful for my higher studies. The course is perfect and no improvements needed but only the thing from my side is to add some workshops and trainings. The exams are conducted twice a year and i feel its good.
