All about life at SXC Ranchi

The curriculum was overall very well helpful for me to enhance my knowledge about how businesses operate. It prepared me for my future job as I have the understanding about operations and management of organisations. The teaching methods applied for my curriculum was satisfactory to me but there is a slight need of improvement in structure of syllabus for the subjects. The exams get postponed or conducted way to early which becomes difficult for thorough understanding of the subject as the focus shifts from learning about the subject to just completing the syllabus as early as possible as exams may come around the corner any soon.

On the official telegram channel of the placement cell of the college the continuous updates and information is provided regarding placements and internship vacancies. Students can stay consider if interested for availing the opportunities. The recent one I came accross was internship vaccancy from Puresh daily foods pvt Ltd. It was offering intership for duration of 2 months in available fields which were HR Marketing and Finance, the stipend offered was 4000

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 3rd semester the average package is of 2 to 3 L p.a. some of the companies visited for campus placement were TCS, Accenture, Genpact, Bajaj and others. I am looking forward towards acquiring placement and currently working on it.

There are reservation criteria for students belonging to ST/SC communities, the fees to be paid by them is slightly lower than the fees that a general category student pays for the same course. The college does not provide any kind of scholarship but it provided with installment payment facility to students where students can pay their yearly fees in installments. There are plenty of campus drive held in our college students are connected through a telegram channel in which regular updates regarding placements are announced and each student can ask for queries regarding placements.

I had an incredible campus experience. There are clubs for each interest for examples cultural, community based, NCS, Social services, finance groups and other departmental clubs as well. The annual sports meet organised by the college which runs for 3 to 4 days other than sports there the event also includes a fancy dress competition for students who do not take interest in sports wanto to participate in the event. There are also other departmental and club based competition organised in the campus which is open to every student of college

My admission process was on merit basis but now there is a change in the admission process for specifically B.B.A there are two levels that a candidate must clear to be eligible to take admission. First there is entrance exam conducted and then followed by interview round only after clearing both the levels the admission process is completed. The Reservation benefits is for the students belonging to ST/SC categories they have to upload their caste certificate for being eligible to avail the reservation benefit which provides them relief in fees. There is also hostel facility provided specifically for boys belong to ST category

The faculties here are very well qualified especially in B.B.A every faculty hold PhD degree and They are outstanding in understanding and teaching of their subjects. The faculties also provides career guidance besides classroom learning and encourages students to participate in other activities which would help them in their career and personal development. Faculties are ready to interact with the students and address their doubts and and grievances without getting bothered by the time. Although there low ratio of faculties due to which one faculty member may have to teach 2 to 3 subjects
