What Students Say
Likes
- first and the most important thing that I like about this college is that they regularly have workshops and sessions and provide many opportunities.
- secondly they also provide opportunities for honing our interview skills time to time conducting workshops and seminars
- last but not the least the teachers are very open in listening to doubts and queries if any student has any regarding technical aur communication.
Dislikes
- campus is good but this college doesn't primarily have a seminar hall or an Audi for big audience workshops or sessions.
- the location is not the best as it is very much outside of the city .
- they give practical technical experience but if they could give more than it would be very beneficial for the students .
Course Curriculum Overview
my course is btech in artificial intelligence and machine learning. i always planned in studying computer engineering but my parents had a little setback in the COVID times so they couldn't providee me an expensive college so I chose this but I never regret choosing this college. that is mostly because of the opportunity they provide the students for opening themselves and honing their technical and interview skills. they held workshops and seminars which are spoken by many of the experienced people in the same industry as ours. I think that greatly lets us learn the aspects of the curriculum we chose by listening to the people working in our industry.
Internships Opportunities
I am currently a part of the intell unnati internship conducted by intel. this internship is not limited to our college. it is not yet confirmed that I will be provided this internship but I am in process for that.. the process is that we have to make a project in a team or as an individual according to the problem statements provided to us and we will be regularly monitored and guided by external mentors. a few days ago they conducted a session for explaining the problem statements to all the students. i am not given the information that if it is paid or unpaid but I surely get an experience for future internships.
Placement Experience
honestly I don't know much about the placement situation. but what I do know is the average package is around 7 lac and the highest package has went upto 30 lac. this college conducts annual job fair where the people from more than 50 companies conducts interviews for the students and those who can crack interviews are further requested to reach out to the companies fr further questioning.
Fees and Financial Aid
the tution fees is 65000 for a year. the college provides bus facility for all students so the bus fees can differ according to the area. mine is 30000 per year from gurugram sector 10. I have not yet interned so I don't know about the stipend but yeah this is the fee structure. regarding the scholarships so, according to the result of the past year you can get upto 20% of fees deducted(you should have any reappears). so for 60-70 percentage the scholarship amount is 5000. for 70-80 Percentage the scholarship amount is 10% of the fees which is 6500. for 80-90 percentage the scholarship amount is 20% of the fees. so this is how the scholarship structure works.
Campus Life
so the campus is comparatively very large and open. there are 3 wide grounds and 1 garden. 2 blocks with the classes and labs provided. 1 canteen with all the fast food and stuff. 1 Nescafe franchise with desserts and more. the classrooms and labs are fully air-conditioned. washrooms are clean. however there are no clubs or groups but the participation in organisation of any event is open. anyone willing to do is allowed just with the permission of hods.
Admission
I think the admission process in this college is very simple. they don't necessarily have a cutoff aspect so for the number of seats that are there in a particular course as soon as they are filled, the admission is closed for that branch. I took the JEE MAINS but the result really doesn't matter as long as the board percentage result is above 65%. HOWEVER there is thing that you can get btech cse core if you have 65% above but for AIML u need to have above 70%.
Faculty
faculties are well read and very approachable. they are always there for the doubts and queries for the students and very friendly too.(not all are but many are). there is one faculty on 60 students so the ratio is not that good but they manage well for large students so that is not that big of a problem. on the positive note the teachers here are very open and also incase of any end time query they also clear that in simple words.. some of the faculties are very friendly with students and even for the some personal problems they support us .
Other Applied Colleges
Dronacharya Group of Institutions - [DGI] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
I didn't opt for this college as it was a bit expensive for us
