Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Being a doctor was my dream , There's was nothing else that I wished for more than this thing I was always curious how patients are treated how human body works and this brought me to this college , i won't say its a great place but surely a good one , curriculum over here is quite tedious from 9-4 we have classes 5 days a week and on Saturdays we have half day till 1pm , nmc given schedule is followed , exams take place after every 2-3 ?months , weekly revision tests are done also at the end of the year there's a final proff exam , majorly i don't feel there's any problem with the curriculum

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Till now I haven't been a part of any major project yet I have helped with poster and banner making during the fest and along side I have also worked for managing the online content for the fest , during our internship after mbbs we are offered 12000 rs / month

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is around - 14 lakhs Hostel and mess fees is - 1 lakh 75 thousand Misc fees is around -87000 No as such scholarships or internships are available at the campus One can try outside the campus or by doing freelancing

Campus Life

4

College is quite supportive for extracurricular activities annual fest ( synapse) takes place which includes both sports as well as the cultural events another event takes place at the university level where all the departments compete against each other and many more such events take place on regular intervals students are even granted attendance

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is good, and the facilities are provided common washrooms are available, centralized AC, reading room, one room has 2 people living together, overall it provides all the basic amenities one can take up room outside campus nearby there's an apartment known as ratan apartments still fees is a compulsion

Admission

One has to score 50% marks in 12th in PCB and give NEET The cutoff for this college ranges between 300-400 marks and if you've scored that much you will have to register for the counseling in updgme website , there you will have to fill up for this college and follow through the process

Faculty

4

Faculty is quite good in my college , they all are MD , MS doctors also majority of them have done there studies from renowned medical colleges , they are quite helpful , interaction with majority teachers is quite comfortable not with all but yeah majority of the faculty is great teaching wise as well as with the non academic part , student to teacher ratio is quite good we have a batch of 150 students and during our 2nd year we are provided with 7 main faculty members per subject as well as 3-4 pg tutors per class for self directed learning so all in all 20-25 students / faculty , lectures are also quite interactive as there's always a revision session before the class starts sometimes it becomes tedious but again it's very helpful in the long run . Some teachers are rude as well but there are always two sides of a coin

The curriculum prepares us for the real time management of the patient illness. If we talk about the difficulty of the curriculum, so yes it is difficult but just it needs consistency and nothing. It prepares us for dealing with the real world by understanding the patients.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The profession I'm in is medical. The toughest of all. As from the starting I wished to be a doctor. The one who is second to a God. The one who is respected the most. The one who does the most prestigious job. As per the curriculum we have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years plus we have to attend the clinical posting in hospital , which exposes us to real world. The posting time is the time given to students from second year till year last. Improvement can be done in passing the exam part which is 50% in each subject. It can be 40 % marks. Currently I've given my MBBS second year which was hectic because of the vast syllabus. We have total of 5.5 year course for an undergraduate degree. Out of which 4.5 years is about studies rest one year is internship in hospital. We have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years. The mbbs course is very lengthy. Each and every subject is very vast. So we have to study maximum time. So all the very best those who aspire to be a great doctor
