What Students Say

Likes

teachers are very supportive. They tend to students needs as soon as they can.
There are multiple cafeterias in our college because of which none of them are too much crowded
There is 100% placement guarantee in our college and there is ac in every classroom and corridor .

Dislikes

Attendance issue , that you to keep 75% attendance and if by chance you missed the 75% mark , you can talk to the superiors but if the dean cancels or rejects your request then you are stuck with a year back .
some cafeterias are very expensive like deja brew and some lacks in hygiene like military mess.
there are too much stray dogs roaming around with numerous diseases and injuries.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose animation in this college because the syllabus covered every single softwqare that I have been looking for . And there are many workshops in the syallbus and other sub courses like foreign language and open elective which helps to develop in other skills and communication.

Internships Opportunities

There are many which offer interships in our college such as tcs , oriental carbon and chemicals limited which offer a stipend of 10000-15000 per month . They give projects depending on the course of the students to help them grow and get work experience .

Placement Experience

after 5th semester student become eligible for placement . There are numerous that visit our college for placement like google , lava , tcs etc . The highest package offered was 30 lpa . Around 80% of students get placed with good package every year

Fees and Financial Aid

My annual fees is around 94000 - 96000 on which 5% fee hike is applied every year . There are no extra expenses other than security deposit of 15000 during admission . There are scholarship if you apply for that but sadly i didn't so I don't know . I haven't taken campus employment yet but i heard that they give 20k-30k per month

Campus Life

I am quite happy with my campus life, there are many events which rejuvenate the students timely. There are fests like SANGATHAN, AMITY FEST, CULTURAL FEST, TALENT HUNT etc. Faculties are quite supportive and the environment is friendly ,ragging free.

Admission

admission was quite simple and easy , you just have to go to there website and fill the form , then after 2-3 business days you offer letter will be sent to your email, then you can visit the campus and they'll tell you if you have to give entrance exam or not . After that you'll just have to pay security deposit and fees.

Faculty

Faculty is very supportive of theri students and they try to help their students as much as they can . Teachers are highly qualified , some have been taught from the top colleges or they have taught in top colleges . teachers are available 24 hours either online or in colleges for your help

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible after 6 semesters for placement. I don't know which companies are coming for placement. but I knew that many students get placed in animation companies and some editing-based companies. I think 60% of students get placed in companies. 3-4 lakh is an average package. MY plan after getting the degree is to go abroad for further studies.

Remarks:

Best university in haryana state and Animation is hard to find in a university. It is a government university and is near to my house. Its very prestigious. Many people recommend it so finally i opted it.

Life at Amity University Haryana

My score in JEE Mains exam was 88 percentile and being a general category student I was not getting anything good so I chose Amity University Haryana. My overall experience at Amity University

Initially I applied for IIMs and DU colleges, amity was just a backup plan for me. I had got admission in Maitreyi college in DU but It was b.com simple and not actually b.com honours. I had to take all the advantages and disadvantages doing a b.com course and ACCA in DU, but I chose amity over DU as I was getting 9 exemptions in amity , out of the total 13 papers. Also, I could not make it to the IIMs, I could not clear the cutoff for the general category and I could clear the cut off for iim jammu and bodhgaya but I coild not make it to the waitlist even. About Amity

I took admission in galgotia university but my admission cancelled because of my percentage but I am grateful that Amity University haryana . In this college only above 60% marks are required. 60% in physics, chemistry, maths and English overall 60% . There is a admission test for admission but if have given jee mains exam then don't have to give admission test. Admission process is easy and comfortable.
