Likes
- The infrastructure and basic amenities provided by the institute are top-notch. The college has lush greenery which is well maintained by the management team.
- The classes never exceed the fixed limit of 60 students so that every student can be taken care of.
- The computer labs are all well maintained and up-to date with Windows 11 and all the other recent technical trends.
Dislikes
- The physics and chemistry labs need updates with respect to interiors and equipment.
- Fests and parties are not given much attention .
Course Curriculum Overview
The BTech course alone is segregated into 7 sub-specializations. The curriculum on an average consists of 6 Units per subject. The syllabus has a balanced approach, i.e. practical subjects as well as theoretical subjects. 2 sessionals exams and 1 end semester exam is conduced every semester. Sessionals marks being 30 each and end semester one being 100.
Placement Experience
Campus placements begin from 3rd year onwards after which the students will be eligible to sit in those placement exams and interviews. It is essential to not have any backlogs during and after the 6th semester as it be problematic. Majority of the high packages are placed off-campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure depends on the course you opt for, for example BTech CSE Core costs 2,30,000 lakhs per annum whereas BTech Cybersecurity or other specializations cost around 2,75,000 as per by 2023. Several scholarships are available for students, the college even has its own scholarship exam MRNAT.
Campus Life
Numerous workshops and seminars conducted on ground level. One can also join a society of their choice (only one per semester). The library is one of the best parts of the institute, having 4 libraries all over the various blocks. The classrooms and corridors are equipped with centralized AC.
Admission
It is best to visit the college to know about their real eligibility criteria rather than trusting what the websites claim. Overall, the admission process is quite simple and easy, make sure to apply for the course and talk to the admission counselor.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:60. They are approachable and are well-connected on WhatsApp groups made by the HOD. The faculty members evaluate a student's internal markings are based on how hard-working & serious the student is. If the student is well connected with their faculty, they might even go out of their way to help the respective student. Every student is assigned a mentor who will be there for the student until the end of the course.
