Course Curriculum Overview
Ayurveda can complement modern medical practices, providing integrative treatment options for patients. This aspect attracts me most.The growing field of integrative medicine offers opportunities for research into the efficacy and mechanisms of Ayurvedic treatments. There are exams monthly which helps student to revised portion time to time . Pattern of each exam is different.
Internships Opportunities
College provide internship of 1year after completing 4.5 years of Bams coursein which they will be trained to diagnose and perform various medical and surgical procedures for the treatment of patients.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The fees upwards @ 5% per year. As I took admission in 2021 my total fees for 4.5 year is nearly 2000000. Final university examination fees for per year is not included in tuition fee. It should be pay separately before the exams.
Campus Life
The college arrange annual gatherings and also sports events. Ayurvedic recipes cooking competition, painting competition, etc are also arranged during annual festivals. College always actively support students for various sports competition.
Admission
Students must have passed the Twelfth (10 + 2) standard with science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to same and with English as one of the languages. He/she must have achieved minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subject (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) of the 12th standard examination. Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December in the year of admission for the First BAMS course. NEET is compulsory for NRI students too. Students are admitted to BAMS course on the merit basis obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Aspirants shall apply / enroll on AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee website at: https://aaccc.gov.in.
Faculty
Many faculty members have pursued higher education with a Master of Doctorate in Ayurveda (MD Ayurveda) or Master of Surgery in Ayurveda (MS Ayurveda) in their specialized fields, such as Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine), Shalya Tantra (Surgery), or Dravyaguna (Pharmacology).Some faculty members have completed a PhD in Ayurveda or related fields, contributing to advanced research and academic expertise.Many faculty members have published research papers in reputable journals, contributing to the scientific community’s understanding of Ayurveda.Almost all the faculty members are very helpful.
