College being in tier 2 city has best campus
College tries it's best to us the best possible

Dislikes

Washroom are bit un cleaned and so are corridor
Doesn't have AC in labs and classroom...

The curriculum is an very interesting one as it bags the concepts from both the the electronic and computer science field and merges it together, curriculum is very interesting as it is easy to understand

Companies such as JP Morgan comes with an internship and placement offer of 6 months provisional and hiring on basis of progress .and small company that are starups and want people who'll work for them

The placement isn't very good as the companies have only 4-5 seats and the contenders for those seats are 400-500 Students ,the highest package this year is about 12 lakhs and average being 6 lakhs ..

Fees and Financial Aid

This year the tution fee is around 79000 and the rest is some gym fee, library few and stuff,the examination fee is also included,we have few scholarships provided to us like ebc and all though many people get it and few aren't able to

Campus Life

The social life in college is very good students from different branches are all friends and campus is alright,as for the club activities their are many a clubs in the college and also thies isn't any ragging or such in the college

Admission

The admission process is smooth,the eligibility criteria of the course was getting a good percentile in cet and 45 percentage in pcm subject to get into an engineering college and as for.the reservation the criteria goes down to 40 percentage in pcm

The faculty are more of a family members more than being a teacher,they make sure that we as a student get the best of what they can offer They make it such that we grab every opportunity we can to secure our future

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. SLRTCE with Great Improvements

The MHTCET conduct exam for colleges in maharashtra for Engineering. It had 3 round for college selection if you got college in first round it had option for freeze or betterment. Aplications dates are given on the MHTCET weebsite itself. It conduct every year for beast colleges in Maharashtra.
