Likes

The college is in good locality and various modes of transportation are available .
The teachers are very cooperative and available at all times for help. The atmosphere of teaching learning is Fun and interactive.
Guidance for placement and internships since first year . Also the fees are comparatively low and modern equipment for education.

Dislikes

College is far from station so students travelling via train face problems

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses provided are relevant and on point. The application of engineering topics in real life and professional ethics are taught in college curriculum. It makes students ready to show themselves out in the industry

Placements are provided in various companies . Placement training is given. Packages from 4lac to 16lac are provided on average and almost 90 Percentage of students get place form the college . After the degree studying for higher education abroad is a plan

The fees are comparatively very less and also fees can be paid in installments. Scholarships are given to students who scored good marks and readuced fee for tfws students . The compulsory charges include the stationary fee to be paid just one year .

12th science students are eligible for engineering. Cet scores are accepted in the college . Application forms are available online and can be physically collected from college . Reservation quota for Hindi minority is there

Teachers are well qualified. Many teachers are PHD persuing and completed . They opt for logical and critical teaching . Teachers are always available and are like mentors to students. They always cooperate

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. SLRTCE with Great Improvements

The MHTCET conduct exam for colleges in maharashtra for Engineering. It had 3 round for college selection if you got college in first round it had option for freeze or betterment. Aplications dates are given on the MHTCET weebsite itself. It conduct every year for beast colleges in Maharashtra.
