Placement Experience

Placement is overall good. The average package of the college is around 8 lakh per annum. Many companies come in the college and they start appointing the students from 6th semester onwards for the internship and placement

At the time of admission there is an entrance exam CUCAT on the basis of which you get the scholarship in the semester fees. Total fees is 212000 per year and you have to pay 2500 examination fees each semester

College life is so amazing. We enjoy a lot in the college. There are many clubs in our college which focuses on overall development of the students. All the clubs are so active. There are many sports activities held in our college

Hostel Facilities

Overall hostel facility is good if you are taking five seater room each student get almirah and study table Study room facilities is also there. You will also get the facility of wifi. Mess food is average

Hostel Fee: INR 89000 per year

Admission

There is the direct addmission in the college. But if you want any scholarship you can give CUCAT exam. You will get the application form on the college website. There is an external fees waiver for the children of defence

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
