Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum of MBBS is not very flexible to handle. The curriculum is very hectic and syllabus is rushed a lot. Real world application is very less in curriculum. AETCOM sessions are taught but not followed in hospital. Teaching should be practical and not only bookish. Frequency of exams is good and difficulty is adequate.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Our college hospital provides internship programme under 5000 rs stipend. Practice is good in hospital. Bond service is compulsory for category students which is paid very well. Overall experience is good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is very much high. Moreover fees is increased by 10% every year which is not affordable for poor general category students. Overall fees for MBBS is approx 40lacs for 5 years. Charges are very high for journals which is a loot. Scholarship is provided for category but not for open category. Stipend is 5000 for now which is very less. College consumes our stipend half stipend.

Campus Life

3

Annual fests are held like VAKRATUNDA in Ganesh festival and PLEXUS in February. Library is very good and books are available to borrow. Touchscreen TVs are available in classes. Wifi is available. Sports activities are good. No social groups or clubs held

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel is very expensive compared to facilities provided. Very small rooms for 3 students. Mess quality is worst and not healthy. Hostel is not affordable (1lpa). Outside rooms or PGs are available here.

Admission

At my time cutoff was 528/720 in NEET UG exam. Application form is on cetcell.com . Exam once year in 1st week of May. Exam is not tough but very competitive. Admission process is smooth and transparent

Faculty

2.5

Faculty is overall better. 1:8 is teacher student ratio. Faculty is qualified and confident. Teaching is not good but ok. No personal attention is given. Teachers just read PPT slides and run away which is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum prepares the student very well for the medical knowledge and medical practice the course is designed in such a way to make the student knowledgeable and confident enough To practice medicine and treat them. Lectures , practicals , SLMs , PCTs, Prelims, annual exam And clinical postings Make the student very much aware of the medical knowledge That he or she is receiving. In third year the practical can be more engaging in my opinion Exam difficulty level is okay and It covers all the topics which are taught under given in the syllabus Which are needed to be there
