Shivani's Review On Maharashtra Institute Of Medical Education And Research - [MIMER], Pune

The college faculties are very good, patient load is sufficient, the campus is so beautiful and according to my convenience as this college is only 2 hours from my place. And according to the recommendations I received from the senior medical students and doctors I know.

The course and curriculum are very vast but the faculties did make it manageable for us. They do everything they can on their part to help us. Academics are interesting. Going to the OPDs, IPDs and OTs everyday to discover not only the mechanism and logic behind patient's illness but also to make myself able to understand their suffering only to think how to make their lives beautiful and meaningful again gives the motivation to go through the lengthy course no matter what.

Medical colleges doesn't have placements through college campus. Though, one can apply for the job after the completion of UG or can go for the PG entrance exam. Or one can go abroad for furthur studies after MBBS as people often do.

All the extracurricular activities are arranged by the students but the college helps us in every way possible. College faculties always encourage the other talents students possess. College campus is such a beautiful place to just walk through. Whenever you'll need some fresh air, you can just walk in the campus and feel good. It's soothing.

Sport facilities are okay. They can be better though. WiFi signals aren't that strong. Lab equipments are okay to go with. Library is very good. One can go find the motivation if feeling low. The ambience is beautiful.

Hostel is okay. Comparing to other college's hostels, this one's better. Each room has about 3 people and if there's a shortage of rooms anytime, college helps arranging the other facility for students to stay.
