Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because I was interested in coding. I would say honestly the curriculum does not prepare you for real world application since the syllabus is old and not up to date. Bringing real life examples and problems would be helpful and also if few teachers throw the annoying students, it'd be better. The timing of the exam is well and good, we get half day to prepare for next exam.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from 5th semester. You have two options, either opt for higher studies or sit for placements. 13% of the students get placed. Last semester about 6-8 companies made offer from 3 to 7 lakh package (incentive) I will be looking for job after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure varies if you take additional courses for example bca regular was 76k in 2022 but bca with data science is 96k. Merit scholarship is provided for students based on their cgpa. Financial aid is also provided for minorities and backward classes.
Campus Life
The campus is under construction right now so I can say that it has shrunk. It used to be lot more greener than compared to now. The fest in our college are usually bland, no huge artist come for our fests. We can get sports materials by handing over our id card. Only few clubs are active like environment club
Admission
12+ was the eligibility of the course. All the details can be acquired from the main desk. There was an online interviews conducted for the admission process. If the details are posted on the website, it'd be great.
Faculty
There are faculty who are knowledgeable enough to teach but some of them just read off the presentation. The faculties are approachable outside but it depends on their mood, if you get lucky. I personally have a good connection with few teachers.
