The ciriclumum for first year is very leanent, so it gives a lot of extra time to learn new skills In every semester there is mini test, mid term exam, end term exam of 10,20,50 marks respectively Courses are also not at all tough they are of very moderate level

There are a lot of internship oppertunity in the collage most of the internship oppertunity comes after 6 th sem they give decent stipend Most of my known seniors have got intership Even due to reccsion there is no such big impact on internships

The placements of Manit is quite decent, the cse and ece placements are quite good There is a huge dip in the placements this year due to the ongoing recession which will hopefully get over after that I think the placements will again improve You can get placement data online, I think of this year it have not been released

The total fees for obc-general category students above 5 lac is around 180000 year + 25k message fees For st-sc category students there is no tution fees only hostel fees is there which is around 31k + 25k message fees You can get fees structure online on manit website Imo the fees is quite affordable.

There is are many fest in the collage, whole year there will be something happing in the campus There is tooryand the Hindi fest which happens around spet-oct Then technosearch the technical fest - it happens around nov The E-summit - happens around Feb Then maffic the cultural fest which happens on March Apart from these big events there are a lot of events which are conducted by different societies and clubs The infrastructure is quite decent the campus is like jungle it could have been maintained properly

Hostels are decent and the message food is also okish type kaam chal jaata hai The rooms from this year will have LAN connection, there is common bathroom and it will have now washing machines There is also a wending machine Rooms for first year is 3 seater but most probably it will becomes 2 occupancy room

I gave jee maine and got around 24 thousand rank, so due to obc + state quota I got ece there. You can check opening and closing ranks online There was a offline reporting some days before the commencement of classes which was quite exhausting

The faculty is quite ok here. Some teaches really good and some don't, but all of them are highly qualified and have good knowledge Some of the faculty members are really helpful and they do help you apart from your academics too
