Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very good, I chose cse because I wanted to study computers. The syllabus is designed accordingly so that we are able to learn everything related to the field of computer science. The exams are conducted once every month to ensure that the students are studying continuously and to assess the students.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 117000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are quiet decent, not many students get internship from college but yes they do have the internship opportunities. It is mandatory for you to get an internship as it is a part of your academic evaluation.

Placement Experience

The campus placements are quiet decent, cannot say good as a lot of students are hired by mass recruiters hardly 10 students get a good package. The average package of the placement is 600000 which is decent for a fresher.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is constant throughout any program, it won't be reduced nor will be increased. The fees when I joined the college was 1,17,000 for every year during the program. There are many scholarships that the college provides.

Campus Life

The campus life is quiet decent, cultural events are held whenever it is required and many events are conducted by several clubs including workshops and hackathons. Antaragini is held every year where students can participate in inter branch sports competitions.

Admission

The admission process is quiet simple only you have to do is to score good marks and fill the counselling form wisely so that you get the desired college. You get reservation benefits in the college along with linguistic minority.

Faculty

The faculties are really good and cooperative. Not only in the academics but they also help in building projects and stuff. We can interact with teachers anytime in between 9-5 and they are very supportive.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I first thought to join lpu and wrote plunest exam but after getting the review i cancelled the admission even after paying 10000 rs seat reservation fee . but basically my jee got blanked. i wrote cuet and comedk and mhtcet through which i got admission in pune . i comedk and cuet my marks were low but in councelling also i got low colleges. in my current college you can take admission of gh raisoni engineering college wagholi pune through mht cet and jee. You can apply for mhtcet councelling even if you didnt applied for mhtcet exam but you have to pay 1000 fee. but the admission is very long and it takes till sept. for admission completion . cutoff for civil was 72% in mhtcet. experiance was very hactic of councelling you have to updated every date during councelling....Read More

Life at GHRCEM - Limited fun, Strong foundation

I applied to a few colleges through the CAP rounds, including MIT, VIIT,VIIIT So many, but GHRCEM was themost suitable based on my CET marks as a open category. I chose this college because of its placement rate and infrastructure also good . The admission process was smooth and fully online via DTE maharashtra centralized system. I was eligilbe through the women category. The cut-off vary every year. I didnt get rejected elsewhere, but some top colleges chad higher cutoff. raisoni was a safe and good option. The admission process is simple. You can aplly here if you have given the state exam i.e MHTCET or JEE. After giving these exams, apply to the cap rounds.
