- Teaching is good and teachers also gives one on one interaction and also provide creative independence for ideas and projects
Dislikes
- College have good Repuation all over state but sadly no placements, which gives us a bit of uncertainty
- College also must provide internship so that we have a experience of work environment to deal with in our further career and resume
- There can be more sports and other facilities that is less utilized as compare to the college and require more sports and other curriculum facilities
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is Btech in Biotechnology and I have earned my seat through ICAR exams. The course is very new and innovative. It's a modern subject which combines biology and technology together into new levels. The demand is emerging but require more scope and money offering jobs and facilities. Specially require internship or placements for more recognition of college and biotechnology course
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee revolves around 36000-40000 rupees per year. The fees are taken per semester and according to fees the facilities are worth more than it. Hostel fees are 1000 per semester and facilities are really good. As per scholarship, I am an Icar student so I get 3000 per month for securing 75% marks and above.
Campus Life
There are many auspicious occasions celebrated in the college like Ganpati, Navratri, Janmasthami, Shivaji Jayanti, Independence Day, Republic Day,etc Annual sports and gathering also happens in this college but as per my point of view we as students require more great occasion and interaction with other students of college too so I prefer to have the occasion on greater level for more innovations. As a student there are all facilities provided for studying including forums books libraries etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fees is 1000 per semester. Rooms and overall hostel is very fantastic. Everyday cleaning and maintenance is done with great security. The meal is a bit of disappointing. The city is not so developed so we get limited options. Mess is available for lunch and dinner. And for snacks there is college canteen. For PG and room the facilities are not so good, but available. As I said the city is a disappointment so there are not so many options available.
Admission
The cut off varies every year, I am from the batch of 2022 so Icar was then conducted by NTA but now things have changed a bit and it is conducted by CUET so it varies. As per my time the cut off for general was aroung 89 percentile and for SC was 69 percentile approximately. The admission was quite smooth and require documentation, physical verification and fees clearance just. Rather than that you can also get this college via state exams also MHTCET precisely.
Faculty
Most of the professors are PHD holders and accomplished great knowledge. It's so inspiring to see them working on unique projects and getting innovative thoughts. They also include us in their project for better learning and experience which is a great plus point. Most of them interact very well and always ready to solve any of our doubts. There are enough and balanced ratio of student and teacher but I will be seeking for more student ratio in the college.
