I have always been fascinated by history from a young age. From ancient history to guptas , maurays till modern india , I always wanted to learn more but previous school made it more like a by heart system. However after I attend this college , with teachers giving complete information and sources , I really began to like it more. This has encouraged me a lot to actually prepare for competitive exams or studying for masters at abroad . However , there needs to be some improvements like detailing the time and names by teachers when explaining a topic and also express their ideas on them as it is really important to have an idea on the other side. And to not defend a particular topic just because teachers think so The exam timings can also be somewhat not well- planned sometimes , as it gives huge number of gaps or no gaps at all making it difficult for students and it sometimes pressures us

Our college does not provide for tuition fees . However the fees is logical and acceptable. The fees are also reasonable and perfect for students who are not from a wealthy background The fees include 1) bus service - ( For every semester for those who do not have land transport ) 2) college t shirt 3) semester fees No additional cost of charge as far as I know it. As we go by semester , we only pay semester fees because some student have financial problems . Some students even without paying get admission and later pays when they got their scholarship . Our principal and his staff have good understanding when it comes to their students We also have CCA where we clean all our department rooms , staff room and toilets in order to maintain cleanliness in our area and even engage in wonderful conversations with famours authors and writers who come to guide and give us speeches about their experience

The college participates in mzu sports , held by mizoram university each year for all the colleges . Our college has always been a top 2 ans even top 1 for the last 3-4 years . Every year all the students cheer up for the college and provides strong friend and unity . It also helds numerous talk with famous and inspirational people who guides and trains young students becoming a greater person The libraries has seprate floor for science and arts and commerce , making it easier for students to stay in a quiet and not so overcrowded place. It has seperate book shelves for every department and various best books for studying . It also provides separate desk and huge tables so that students could work together and study The sports like mzu and also college week , where numerous items like cosplaying , dancing , singing , football , basketball is held every year for happiness of the students

The course cut off was 70% However the speciality of our college is that it provides reserved seats for handicapped , disabled and alaso provides seats for different quotas like sports etc. We were the last students to have been selected based on merit . Now the college has cuet and pucet which allows students who have not attained well in their 12 exams and gives a chance to those who really want to get on the best college in the city. The admission fee is also very affordable for students from low family income and very reasonable too However , the chances that might have to be made is the entrance should be done a little earlier so that it may not lead to problems in admission in the future

The teachers having highest qualification like Ph. D and that too from a brilliant university , it has become easy for us students to get inspiration and knowledge , also many learning techniques and ideas that helps us study more effectively in many ways . The teachers are soft spoken and very riable. We have no difficulty approaching them in case of doubts and are always happy to help. It has encourage and motivated me a lot to actually get to know the lessons intead of just by hearting the subject. My method of study has changed a lot since first sem , as I began to actually understand and write the important topic , making notes and in general has improved my learning skills . With the teachers being extremely fair and strict in exams and marks , it has actually made me more motivated and learn from my mistakes as well. I really enjoy learning now and hope I could continue this way always
