We can become a software engineer,web developer,artificial intelligebce engineer,networking analyst and mobile application developers. This is one of those courses that provides students with high-paying job options on completion of the course.

Every department of our college works on various projects. The faculty assists students with various projects and they also work with other reputed universities like IIT Kharagpur, Jadavpur university, iit Delhi..nit Rourkela. They provide internships in well-recognized companies.

Placement Experience

Our college always try to employ all of their good students. They bring well recognised companies for the placements. The interviews take place in our college's interview cell only. In case they cannot provide the job then try to assist those students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for the course is 49,200 /- per every semester. For the hostellers, room rent is 4200 /-for every semester. The mess charges are 26,100/- for every semester. The college provides numerous scholarships for financially deprived students.

Campus Life

They provide students all types of clubs for students extra curricular growth like photography club,drama club,anchoring club,music club,dance club,cricket club,robotics club and various other sports club. One can easily groom up their skills.

Hostel Facilities

Registration process also takes place simultaneously with admission process and it is easy to get the accommodation. The quality of food they offer is a thing of little bit worry. The menu of mess keeps on changing every semester. They provide nonveg for atleast 5 days per week.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

The students have to appear for either the wbjee exam or JEE mains for admission. Last year's cutoff for btech in cse is 30000. Admissions can also be done through jee mains also. The questions of the wbjee exam are based on the class 12 syllabus only.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .
