Likes

The faculty: the faculty at msu psychology is very chill and educated and teach very nicely and send good study material.
the crowd: the environment and the public at the psychology department is very nice and approachable, even seniors are very sweet and help you a lot.
the course: the course topics are very interesting and helpful

Dislikes

The management: the management at msu is very poor, lacks timely announcements.
Exam dates are usually not knows before hand or are told 10-15 days before exams
There are no fests in arts faculty, a few events do take place but nothing very fun or nice.

the course pattern is very very good at msu psychology. first term they teach you the basics about psychology and human behaviour and in the second a little biology is introduced which is essential for the stufy of psychology.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two categories of classes that one can enter. GIA (granted in aid) which has approx 100 seats and one has more freedom in this course and the fee structure is less (around 7k per year for girls) and the HPP program is the highher payment program which requires extra fees and has less freedom in terms of subject selection. to get into gia the 12th grade cut off is 80%. other students who take admission late or do not qualify in the merit list go into hpp, some also have to appear for an entrance exam.

Campus Life

Talking about social life, it's generally very good in the psych dept as i said yhe crowd is nice. the capus has multiple departments so multiple canteens and hangout spots to discover. there are mainly cery less or no clubs but anyone is open to start one

Admission

since its a government college, administration is a lil slow. application process is purely online but then you have to visit offline to submit documents and selct uour subjects in faculty of arts. its better to have a contact in msu, a student, teacher or anything works but it makes the process easier. they still will guide you through everything even if u dont have a contact

Faculty

faculty at psychology is amazing. qualifies and very cery approachable for any doubts or mentorship. most of them have good teaching methods which makes it easy to understand difficult concepts. they are also very non judgemental.

Here Army and Police Service requirement keep coming and we can fill the form. So, direct training is what we are sent for and once we perform well there, a job worth minimum 40-50 thousand a month is awarded to us.

Placement Experience:

Placements are in the top courts of the country. From Palam Court to NIA court and even the district court's is where we stand eligible to serve. Some of the top arbitration firms and criminal law firms readily accept us as we have studied at RRU. Also, litigation traits are taught to us and hence some students straightaway goes for litigation.

Percentage of students getting placed is almost 100%. As Indian Police Service, IRS, and Indian Army are the ones where students are recruited directly. Also some are sent for diplomacy too as diplomat top is one of our subjects.

Life at MSU

Course Curriculum Overview:

In BA psychology, the course offers specialization in one subject and there were options such a clinical, industrial, sports, counselling and educational psychology. For grant in aid programme, only clinical, Industrial and counseling psychology is available as options. For Higher Payment programme, all options were available. There is no difference in grant in aid and higher payment except for fees and specialization options. Teachers are same and classroom are same. And HPP exams are held in the department of psychology while Grant In aid exam are held in different departments as per subject.

MSU- A PLACE FOR DREAMS

I had applied in two colleges 1) MSU 2) KMCA Commerec College and got opportunities in both college for admission. No i didn't get any rejection from other college as i had secured a very high marks.
