The curriculum at IET Lucknow is well aligned with GATE's syllabus so the people who want to appear for these examination have a huge benifit. Also the curriculum for Computer Science and Engineering is up to date with latest technologies in the market. The teaching methods are excellent and you will never feel burdened or overwhelmed by the syllabus.

Internship opportunities at IET Lucknow are not that great hence majority of students opt for off-campus internships. Not many companies offer internship opportunities directly via college but college has great alumini network which helps in placements and internships.

The Institute offers a training and placement cell that provides training sessions for students and gives each student opportunity to be training placement coordinator who can assist the TPO with bringing companies to the college. The overall placement situation of the company is quite good as 95-97% of students get placed with an average package of 8-9 lpa. Where as the average package for CSE students is around 11-12lpa with highest package being 47lpa. The cell also provides internship opportunities to pre final year students.

Though the fees is lowest as compared to any institute in the country, various fee waivers and scholarships are available like UP post metric scholarship and other available scholarship for which students are eligible. The DSW volunteer are very helpful and provide all the help needed by any student. Students are also provided with fee waiver seats according to the result of entrance exam.

The campus life at IET Lucknow is no at par with tier 1 colleges but has several cultural and technical clubs like dance, music, drama societies etc. There are technical societies too like coding, robotics clubs etc. There are also departmental societies in which student council organize various technical, cultural and sports events. Overall the college life at IET Lucknow is quite lively.

The hostels at IET Lucknow are well maintained and provide great facilities. Hostels at IET Lucknow offer two types of accomodations ie single room and triple seater rooms. The hostels offer wifi connectivity and sports facilities like table tennis, cricket, badminton etc. The mess food varries from hostel to hostel, but the overall quality of food is quite good. Registration process is quite smooth and is allotted at the time of physical reporting at the Institute.

Admission process may seem hectic but is quite streamlined. First students need to register to counseling portal for seat reservation in various colleges that are affiliated with AKTU. Once you have paid the counselling fee you are required to physically report at college and submit required documents and the remaining fees. The process remains same irrespective of reservation or general students.

The faculties here are highly educated and have deep knowledge of there subjects. Some faculties have pursued their doctorates from foreign Universities like Stanford. Some faculties also lead students into research work related to their domain which helps students to better understand subjects. Some of the faculties are also guest faculties at well reputed institutes like IITs and IIITs so if you want to appear for GATE or want to enroll as research intern at any of these institutions they can help with this to. Also they make you feel comfortable as they are always available for help at any time of the day.
