All i can tell about NIET

NIET is an autonomous institution so here the course curriculum is according to so that everyone can literally learn engineering and even biotechnology students are also made to learn 3rd language to get ease in placement in all the other sectors

When we sit for placements so it depends on companies whether they are picking students for internship or direct job. College don't provide as such internship but teachers do update about any internship vaccines to apply. Every odd semester we have internship assessment of 50 marks which is compulsory to do. In which it is necessary to do an internship related to btech only. I have done internship from BHARAT INTERNS of web development.

Students at NIET are eligible from 4th year for placements. After 6th semester placement training occurs for 2 months in which students are made capable to sit in placements. The criteria of placement is not so complicated you should have 8.5 cgpa at an average for consistent 4 years of your btech which is not that difficult to maintain. The highest package this year was 40 LPA and lowest was 6.5 LPA everyone have the opportunity to sit in other branches companies too depending on their criteria. Around 80% of students do get placements, some companies prefer to give internship first and then giving jobs and other directly offer job. Comapnies like MICROSOFT, and AMAZON do come but yeah obviously with highest criteria. I have as such no plans I haven't decided whether i will pursue further studies or just take the placement

The fee is submitted at once here There are no semester fee criteria. The criteria for attendance is 85% if below then they are not allowed to sit in the examination. Per year the fee is 1,17450 INR without security and admission fee. Scholarship policy is there you can also join by sports quota and academic on 100% Placements at niet are confirmed that's why Niet is most known for.

There are many clubs at Niet but campus life is not as such fun here. I mean all the time you are just stuck in class because of back-to-back classes . But some events do occur like the Annual fest, Cultural fest, Technical fest, jag mag event at diwali , Garba night and some other sports day occur once in a semester. Also, there are many clubs like Kalakriti Club, music Club, Green Gold Society, Dance club etc. who all participate when any event occurs. To participate in any event you need to belong to a club

So i am living in a three seater duct room. Rooms are spacious at hostel also mess food is quite good. The authorities change mess menu time to time to avoid repeatition. 4 time per day food is provided. Duct in the room starts from 7 pm in the evening afyer college hours till next day morning and. On weekends the ducts is ON for like whole day. Duct fee is included in fees. There are no double seater rooms only three seater and four seater rooms with common washroom and bathrooms but you can opt for attached to. Daily sweeper come to clean rooms and all the corridor. In 4th year hostel in not alloted as because of the placements. I am paying 1,10700 fee non duct room is for 99k and there you can opt for coolers in summers. You can register for hostel online at niet website or when directly from admission block

Eligibility of the course was 10+2 from PCM/PCB . You can apply online and also you can directly visit admissions block at niet. They will guide for everything benefits. Admissions start from March and ends till july and from august new session starts. Students with EWs certification gets a scholarship of 50,000/year. The procedure to avail of this is the application form which can be guided by the college. Reservation students do have to pay less than the students from the general category. I haven't availed any reservations or scholarships but my friends do so yeah. Here we have three sessionals per semester. Difficulty is not that much if you have studied what teachers have taught in class then you can score 25+ in sessionals out of 30. Every semester is of 5 months of which the last month is of exams external practicals, internal practicals and sessional 3 and in 4 months two sessionals occurs in which syllabus is two units. Every subject has five units. sessionals are basically of 1hr

Faculty here is nice and well qualified. Our project report was there so our guide helped us alot to make our report precisely and efficiently and also perform in lab. In labs teachers also perform the experiments and then we continue with them. So hands on labs are much better especially computational labs
