The number of students in every batch which is around 72
Well equipped labs for practical implementation of every single topic
Kind behaviour of the teachers and lab assistants

Dislikes

The number of students intake in the university is increased
The fee structure is increased every year for new admissions
The policy like for a single simple work you have to take many permission as well as different signatures from different authorities which aren't in same block

The cource curriculum is much related to most of the other universities present in india, weather the course is given 90 working days to complete a semester with five days a weak to reduce stress from the students

As per my knowledge and what I heard about the placement is that Chandigarh University provides an avarage package of 8,50,000 annually and a Highest package of 56,00,000 annually Sorry but I am unaware of median package provided by the university

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the bachelors of engineering in computer science and engineering in 2,40,000 per year, however the university provides scholarship upto 100% depending upon how much you have scored in their cucet entrence test or you can avail scholarship according to your jee mains score.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty good at Chandigarh University here there are many vendors which offers you all the necessary needs which a student requires There are sports facilities available throughout the campus and a Special sports complex for rest of the sports

Admission

The admission process was simple as you need to only fill your basic details i.e. biodata and if you want to avail scholarship then you can go with their cucet entrence test with which you can avail 100% scholarship

Here in Chandigarh University, Most of the teachers have completed doctorate in their subject and rest of them have completed masters, which enhances the learning experience as a student from such teachers

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
