Course Curriculum Overview

I chosed bachelor of engineering course because it is more theoritical. Chandigarh university provides nice opportunities also. The frequency of exams include 2 msts and 1 final exam...and the class tests are taken frequently.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities available in our college include the opportunities from companies like simple play, accenture, tcs, mahindra tech, wns etc Some machine learning and deep learning. Projects like detection of diseases, intrusion system etc are developed by the students.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible from 7th sem for placements from the campus Companies like Google, Accenture, mahindra tech, tcs visit the university The highest on campus package us 31 lacs And average package is 5 lacs per year 60--70% of students get placed. I have plans for future studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of bachelor of engineering in computer science and engineering is 120000 in the current year. The Chandigarh university provides cucet scholarship to the students in which they can avail upto 100 % of scholarship.

Campus Life

The annuall fests include CU fest, Tech fests, Cultural fests etc. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library includes full access to the academic books, comic, novels etc. The sports and extracurricular activities in the Chandigarh university are at high level. Many students run their groups and university helps them out.. Thus they grow well.

Admission

The admission does not require any exam hence there is no cut off etc. Anyone can join the university and have choice to avail cucet scholarship from the university . The difficullty level of the exam is average. Everything is well and no such areas of improvement suggested.

The faculty to student ratio is somewhere appropriate, the staff of the university is in good number. The faculty gives it's 100 percent in the Mentorship of the students Interaction with the teachers depends on the students as teachers are always available

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
