Course and curriculum are best here for students to be used in future and for placement in the students and in real life problems that the student face in their job and it also improves you mindset according to the problems and algorithm.

As I am a first year student I have not much searched about the internship but in some communities in what's app that are run by the students who involved in the college interviews and placement related events they give info about placement drives and internship program offered by some companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is based on the course the you choose such that I have choosen be cse and it's fee is 120000 at that time I have got admitted and I got scholarship of 40% by clearing for cucet if you score more get more scholarship. The fee can be changed by time

Campus Life

Campus Life is better than expected on an average there are lot of events organised in the college campus by the students of different streams like culture event, coding event, blood donation camp, free checkup camp, and many more. Fest is also organised on the working day.

Admission

Admission process is simple that first give the scholarship test by paying form fee of 1000rs after that fill the seat allocation fee of what they ask for it and rest pay your semester fee by online mode offline mode and by loan method.

Faculty

All faculty here are highly qualified and experienced so they provide knowledge to students. All teachers do hard work to implement their knowledge for students to be learned and use this in the college exam and for placement

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
