Infrastructure of main campus is good...
College life is good until attending fests.

Dislikes

There's no proper curriculum for the first batch.
There's no coordination between departments.
Hostel is also not good. No proper food nit even clean water to drink.

Course Curriculum Overview

I didn't liked the curriculum at all. As I am in the first batch of the course BBA- Business Analytics.. The university doesn't has any proper curriculum for us. It feels like a total waste of time going to college.

Placement Experience

Placements are provided by Chandigarh University. For bachelors degree mostly startups are coming to hiring the freshers. And for masters degree, MNC's are hiring. But there are many chances of you getting debarred from the placement cell.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of the academic course is 58000/- per sem and yes CU does provides scholarship through CUCET. But after 1st year they try to remove the scholarshil by not giving appropriate internals as well as external marks and grade.

Campus Life

Campus life is very happening in CU if you are living in a hostel. Many events take place during a semester strating from the orientation program that lasts a week and then freshers and all the concerts happening.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is not good based on my hostel life. Tbere'svery much rsstriction in the girls hostel even in the mess they used to give limited food. They has a limit on the amount of vegetable and rotis tou are taking. And water supply inthe hostel was also not clean.

Admission

There's no as such admission procedure. You just have to sign up to the university site and you'll be given a counsellor to talk to and if you want to avail scholarship, apply for CUCET. The level of the exam is very easy based on the course you opted for.

Faculty

Many faculties are well experinced and they taught us very excellent. They had all the knowledge about the subjects but most of them have left the university now. Andnow all the faculty members that the university is hiring are not that experinced.

I haven't opted for intership program but one of my friend got internship in IBM company. Apart from intership many more industrial visits are made by the college. It's gives more knowledge regarding the course.

A good campus.

Placement Experience:

There is a subject called TPP in which the student is allowed to attend placement drives in their colleges. It includes verbal and aptitude. More than 500 companies visit my college and offer 6lacs to 10lacs per annum to the deserving candidates.

Lovely Professional University’s Truth!!

Placement Experience:

The campus placements here are good. Many of my batchmates have been placed. Students become eligible for placements after second year. Many companies have visited here and offered job roles in different fields like sales, operation, lead generation etc. Packages offered ranges from 10lpa to 4 lpa. And the average package is 5 lpa. There is an option if you dont want to chose placement services. Mostly students who have opted for placements services have been placed and the rest will also be placed soon. My plan is to pursue MBA after the completion of my degree.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
