Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is based on the new education policy . It includes practical approach . It helps you become employable. Remember that the college is autonomous and the syllabus slighly varies from sppu. None the less it only improves the syllabus

The college does provide opportunities for internships . Total 288 companies visited the collegw last year . Companies visiting college e were as follows... Mahindra and Mahindra, Hexaware Technologies, Veritas, IBM, CrelioHeaith, Birlasoft ,TCS...

Placement Experience

There is on campus placement in the college. Lots of companies visit our campus.... Average package offered by the college is around 4lpa to 5lpa. It varies according to departments as well might be higher for certain department and lower for the other.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is compulsory internship program for 3rd year. College has quiet decent on campus placement. About the college fees, you can visit the college website . At my time it was nearly 168,000 . College offers Tfws and other scholorships (obc ,ebc , etc)

Campus Life

The fests are the good part about the college. There are dance competitions, rap battles and many cool things . Its week long fest in Feb and you get to enjoy it with your friends. Last year college had invited Siddharth Chandekar as the cheif guest.

Hostel Facilities

There are 2 girls hostel and a boys hoatel . Shivajinagar girls hostel is near to the college and sahakar nagar girls hostel is around 6km far. The second hostel is new and equipped with lots of facilities. Its quiet spacious and nicely maintained . I don't much idea abou the other hostels .

Hostel Fee: INR 132000 per year

Admission

You'll have to have appeared for either Jee mains or mht cet and score a decent percentile for getting into the college through cap rounds . Other than this, theres also reserved seats for management quota you can apply in .

Faculty

The faculty member are plus point of the college. They are highly qualified. They will guide you , encourage you and support you whenever needed. They are not too strict . Everyone is chill. You need not worry about the faculty.

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Student become eligibble for compus placements from third year. There are many companies who had came to MIT WPU like Nvidea, CJ , who are offering a pretty good pacakge . Giving the highest package of 51 LPA and average package of 7 LPA. Around 75% of students get placement from MIT WPU.

Amity University Mumbai : is it worth it?

Placement Experience:

As on date, the placements from Amity University Mumbai go quite well, and this is also the reason considerate students get placed after having undergone their seventh semester and beginning of eighth semester. All said and done, to everyone's concern in and outside Campus, companies like Google, Microsoft do not regularly visit Campuses

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the internship opportunities and full time placement opportunities starts to come, For my batch, Veritas, coditas , Worldline, Wipro, KPIT, CrelioHealth, Kylas these companies came with a good package which was greater tha 4 LPA. Highest package was from veritas 12 LPA, Kylas 7 LPA, and average was arount 3.5-4 LPA. Arount 60% students gets placed. I am placed with a good package through campus placement only

I chose this college because it is one ofthe top 10 colleges in pune. And year on year demand for this college is increasing. # years back there was only 1 batch for Computer engineering. Last year there were 2 batches and currently this year a total of 3 batches are there for Computer engineering. And similar for other branches also. Admission Process: 1. Visit college for document verification. 2. A link will be provided to enter details regarding admission (Educations details, Communicational Details, Gaurdian Details etc........). Its a very long form which can be filled at home also before document verification or else after document verification it can be filled in college. I applied to PCCOE, PCCOER, DY Patil, Bharati Vidhyapeeth, Modern College but based on my CET score I got admission here. I chose AISSMS IOIT Pune over other colleges because of its strong placement record, modern infrastructure and well structured computer engineering programme. I applied to VIT Pune, MIT Pune and COEP but secured admission only in AISSMS IOIT. My rejection from COEP was due to a lower score in entrance exam.
