Honest review of a college student.

I study interior design and apart from nshm I barely know any college that provide this course. After joining this college I came across my faculties and they were very friendly with me and also the taught us in such a manner that the interest in this course even got better they provide various workshops and site visit that also help us a lot. The design subject itself is very interesting and also the faculties put bits of challenges that even makes us more indulged with the design. Not only we have interior projects we are also given with landscaping projects that has just to understand the exterior works. Also we have vastu and sustainable that helps us with our future works. The all over experience of this course is very nice. The exams are evenly placed in every month that helps us to study with a balanced pace.

As a student of 2nd year I have no experience of internship opportunities from college as in our course we have internship in 3rd year. But as much as I heard from my seniors, our college doesn't provide much good internships, and many apply for internships on their own. But they do get internships from college also in good companies but the numbers are very few. Therefore, it's a con from my side that the college doesn't take much initiative regarding the internships for the students.

The total course fees that I am paying is early based. The total amount is around 3 lakh 50 thousand. The divided in 3 years, in first year we pay 187000, in 2nd yr we pay around 98000, and third year we pay 65000. Also and every semester there is an exam fee of 1200 and I was eligible for scholarship because I scored 91% in my 12 board exam but when I took admission the college didn't inform me about the scholarship therefore I didn't apply because I lacked the knowledge hence I had to pay the whole fees. And the scholarship can only be applied in first year therefore I didn't get a chance to apply. Also during payment of yearly fees there is an addition of 500 after the delay of 10 days. I believe it's the colleges responsibility to inform the student about the scholarships available for apply because they have the information of the scores in our board exams so that no student has to pay extra fees.

Our college have 1 fest every year named login. It's typically held around the month of May, but recently bhawanipur education society took over our college and they denied any fest to take place in summer, they suggested to conduct fest in winter. Apart from that we also have lot of clubs. Aangan is the cultural club and they keep doing something or the other every month. But we do have sports club named Uday but we don't have much space in college for sports. Recently an astronomy club started in our college. Our college has 2 library and they do have a lot of books and they are available for us maximum time.also our classrooms have projectors and good ambience for studying except in summer, not all rooms are suitable for sitting.

The admission was very smooth actually. I I got in touch with the admission portal through the website then actually my brother studies in that college therefore I got the portals number who was in charge of the admission and she help me to choose the proper course and give me a form to fill up which I did online then I was asked to meet on a given day and that day I went there I had to fill up a form again and as I was got to know about the college from my brother there for he was given as the referral. The admission was smooth and and that person provided me with all the information that was required including the fees and structures and they give me a college tour also. But they didn't inform me about any scholarships but also as my brother informed me about the college the college gave my brother around 20k for referring me this college. There is no much of eligible criteria required to take admission in this college.
