Review of BUIT. BHOPAL

This college I choose because of govt.ownership and low fees. Here we got a lot of time to prepare for any government exams. all students are JEE mains qualified so they all helped each other and senior helped also. And the only bad thing is It takes an exam late. If the management of this college were good then this college will be at the top position. I really like BUT.

I am a mechanical engineering student so in my branch, the syllabus is of good level it seems like it is a national institute type. Its whole syllabus cant match in one book because it has different topics which we did not find in a book we use internet google for study that. I have listened that 1 or 2 paper of my main semester exam comes from NIT BHOPAL.

Placements here is a very low rate. An ll student who is studying in BUIT is talented.B because they all are preparing for different govt. jobs like the gate, cat, isro, drdo etc.so they are not interested in placement and another reason is the management of BUIT is somehow not good. TRAINING AND PLACEMENT ofFICER don't give attention to placement .they comes and sit in his office, no one is going to disturb him so they are free. Many times there are STRIKES happen in college for placement...MSNY times director changes here.

When I got here admission in 2016 August that time there was an event organised in BUST but in 2017 and 2018 there was nothing but now it is going on in 2019.it is like the annual program it includes different tournaments like 1 cricket 2football 3chess 4race 5carrom. 6badminton 7bollyball .....etc

It has low fees 22613 in odd sem and 19662 in even sem.total is about 42000 approx.in 1st sem fee was around 5000 more than normal. because it was as caution money but it will be refunded after 4 yrs.because of govt institute its fee is lower so I am also happy to get admission here.

I have not opted any loan but I applied for a national scholarship in 2018 .i didn't get it.I BELONG to BIHAR so I cant apply for mp scholarship. Because of another state, I am not eligible for mp scholarship. In BUT most of the student get a scholarship except general category. Sc st get approx58000 Obc get 25000 approx And some of us are studying FREE because of their parents is an employee in BU..as government rule they are allowed to give 0 rs.

A campus of BUIT is too good .it is a green pasture and lot of trees around us full of nature support different types of trees are around us. In different branches ration is different MECHANICAL. 45 boys 10 girl Civil 40 boys 20 girl ...soon Chemistry, physics lab are too good there are different research done here Engineering labs are old some of them are not working. there is big ground for sports here.

Yes, seniors are too helpful and faculty are also very helpful .all seniors are very talented .alumni of this college are at the good position some of them are in the airforce, iocl, different NIT.

I have given jee mains examination 2016 I got all India rank 69160 .and my obc rank was 19662.so that I was given jee advance but I didn't qualify so after result I apply jossa counselling for all NITs but I didn't get any call from nits till last round. I think I was interested in mechanical engineering so due to some higher rank, I didn't get it. But after this, I apply FOR MADHYA PRADESH counselling, because I have to study in government college so I apply only govt Engg colleges in Madhya Pradesh. BUT WAS one of them.

The faculty here is less. There are few faculties they are permanent by govt. many of them are on contract basis. some faculties are guest or visiting..but those who are permanent or contract basis also are very knowledgable they are very helpful and they are highly qualified, they help in any situation.
