Institutional Insights: A Review of Galgotias University

The course content of the college is updated every year in first year all BTech courses have common subjects from 2nd year the course and specialization subjects are introduced all the subjects here are according to the recruiting companies aurch as Amazon and mocrosoft

The internship offered by college are majorly certification based in companies such as Coincent ,AICTE ,Cisco. The other offline intership are available after 2nd year and it is mandatory to do a offline intership by end of 3rd year and 3 certification of AICTE (which is a gov website)by end of your cource.

The placement rate of University is not 100% it is 50 to 60% where average package s 500000 to 600000 LPA. The students are eligible for placement in their 6th semester which is end of 3rd year. Companies such as Infosys, Amazon, TCS, Deloitte, Hero corp etc. The highest package is 1.5cr which was offered by OpenZeppelin. I am not considering in campus or off campus placement as I'll be persuing higher studies.

The fee structure is annual the fees is not semester wise it is year wise.the current fee for BTech is 159000 per year including 10000rs exam fee. There might be a hike of 4000 to 5000 every 2 year but only for the new addmission the old students have to pay the same ammount as they paid on their admission. There are scholarship opportunities the college itself does not provide any scholarship but it informs you and notify you about the scholarship available mostly government scholarship.

There are many events happening in the campus PRARAMBH which is welcome party(not the freshers party) and UNIFEST which is one of the biggest fest in Delhi NCR these 2 events are on a really big scale rest there are many small events happening every week .there are more than 50+ clubs including management , literature, music,dance etc. there are many sports club also which are not included in these 50 clubs these clubs are for social and co curricular activities.to manage all these clubs there is a students council which manages everything from supervisor to all permissions.

Hostel provides only single seater and double seater there are no triple or quad seater. The room provided are also of 2 types AC and non AC the fees is as follows: Single seater (non AC)-130000/year Double seater(non AC)-126000/year Double seater (AC)-155000/year The facilities provided in a double seater are 2 beds 2 almirah 2 tables 2 chairs 2 table lamps 1 balcony 1 wifi (for each 2 rooms) The menu of the mess is updated every 15 days you are given 7 days a 4 time meal no meal is repeated so variety is also there but food is average quality of food and hygiene is fully taken care of but really average taste For allotment it follows a FCFS method first come first serve when you fill the college fee once then you can fill the hostel allotment form.Make it quick as the hostel gets full by August.

The admission here is by 2 process: 1) Direct process where you require 60%marks in physics chemistry and maths (PCM) in your 12th and 10th. 2)By any entrance exam it does not conduct any entrance exam of it won't but considers other exams such as JEE or CUET. I got my admission through CUET. In the councelling I got this College for BTech CSE as I had interest in computer science so I took admission.

The faculty of the University is really experienced they are strict and rude but really helpful whenever you need any help in studies or project you can simply contact them. Sometimes you can get a faculty who is new here but they are also PhD holders as university does not admit any teacher who is post graduate or does not hold a PhD degree.
