Course Curriculum Overview
The hierarchy of the difficulty level is what that influenced my decision to choose this course In the first year ,the subjects are vast and nearly every branch subjects will be included in oneway or the other .From the second year onwards,the subjects are branch specific and will prepare you well for the outside world . The unnecessary assignments and the work overload at the time of exams and endsems is just very unnecessary and unhelpful.Which needs a bit improvement The exam level is nothing.The exams are quite easy to pass as its a private college. The midsems are held once or twice and at the end of the semester,end sems are held every semester.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th or 8th semester. Exxat limited,Morris garrages ,TCS etc are some the companies visiting the college for placement. Number of offers made are not so bad. The highest package offered uptil now is 10 lpa from Computer and IT department. The average package offered is 4-5 lpa . Almost 50-53% students from each branch get placed. My plan is to get a good job in a good product based company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees generally doesn't increase yearly. Like this year in 2023 it was increased after 5 years nearly. The complete cost of the education is 2-2.5 lakhs per year . Mysy scholarship is available for the ug students from the government of Gujarat.Also the college provides financial aid to scholar students.
Campus Life
The annual function is held every year in the month of April or May .The tech fest held is IMAZE. It is typically organized for 1 month. The range of books in the library is huge. Nearly all branch books are available in the library itself. Every classroom has a white board. NCC club is there for sports. Gcet sports club is also there. IEEE,ISA,CSI,ISTE are some the student clubs that are actively working for the overall growth of the students.
Hostel Facilities
A bed,chair ,study table is provided in the hostel room. The meal quality is a bit compromised.But since it's mess food ,one can work it out . The registration process is easy and can be conducted from the hostel warden itself. There are many flats and pg available outside the college in the nearby localities only.
Admission
The course eligibility is 12th pass with good grades The application forms can be found on the official website as well as acpc website.The entrance exam considered is gujcet.The admissions are also taken on the basis of nri quota and management quota. The exams are held twice every semester.The exams are quite easy . The admission process is smooth and well organised and I personally don't feel it needs any improvement or so .
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 7:1 .It does not impact much on the performance of the students as all of them are nearly experienced and qualified in their own fields The faculties are either PHD doctors or mtech qualified.Each and every faculty has a different way of approach towards their students.Some of the faculties use PDFs to teach while some of them use blackboard. You can contact with the faculties anytime.But there are a few faculty who are not very supportive in that case .
