Likes

The college have wifi connection all over the campus.
Our college organise different functions.
The location was quiet good as it was far from city.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is poor and undeveloped.
The management is also very poor in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my perspective the course have no relevance at all because at the time of admission the management has told us that if you go with the specialization in IBM then you'll have the higher chance in getting placed in IBM. But this is a lie as amazon, flipkart didn't come in placement as our college promised us then how a MNC like IBM would come.

Only one company have offered the internship and that also was not good for the experience. No projects have been given during interview only they have said to do sales for them if we want offer letter.

Placement Experience

After 4th semester the students become eligible for campus placement. RulesIQ, securium solution,etc the offers lies between 2 lakhs to 2.5 lakhs and it is same for every company. 5.5 lakhs is the highest package and 1.5 lakh is the average package. 10% or less. Preparing for CAT exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 1 lakh and worthless, as they didn't provide the value and benefits as per the money they are taking from us. I don't get any financial assistance from the college, nor are the campus employment opportunities good at all. There have been no hikes in the tuition fees up until now.

Campus Life

Anubhuti, Techfusion are the name of annual and technical festival. Very few range and varieties of books are available. Only fans and lights are provided in classroom with a normal board. There are very few extracurricular activities and the sports event is also not very exciting.

Hostel Facilities

Fans, lights, table, chair and bed are provided in the rooms. Meal quality is very poor and the hygiene is worst. For registration you have to fill the form and pay the fees. I have rented a PG in matiyari.

Admission

There is nothing like admission process in our university, the main thing is money for them if you have paid the money there is no entrance exam and there is nothing like criteria for you. They had to take test for entrance exam so that better students can join.

Some of the faculties have good knowledge about their subjects but some faculty didn't have a proper knowledge about their subject and can't explain the subject properly to us. I don't know why they are getting selected by the management.

Overall experience at Galgotias University

Likes

The campus life in Galgotias is appreciable with a lot of clubs, different events happening daily and the overall student culture.
There are dedicated labs for every department whether management or technical.
Practical learning and active classrooms make students ready for real world jobs.

Dislikes

Sometimes the timetable is not very likeable because of huge gaps between classes.
Different weak offs are not nice, i.e., the university is open all 7 days and there are classes on Saturday and Sunday as well.

Placement Experience:

Galgotias University has high placement rates with the placement rates for this year being 5500+ offered jobs. The highest package was 60LPA and average was 6LPA. There are a vast varities of companies which offer placement from technical background till management background.

I think they need some extra awarness in student for job and placement
They need to improve learning facilicities like smart board wifi
They dont have to change faculty for any subject early

My college have a good infrastructure classrooms is also very spacious have a library
Regular activities also get conducted The college frequently organises workshops seminars and events
Very supportive and knowledgeable Faculty. Collage also give practical exposure and updated learning environment

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college are decent with many opportunities. Many big companies came to our campus like Decathlon, times now Placements packages of these companies were almost 4-5 lac. It mainly focuses on making students industry ready Also our colleges have a seprate Placement cell which handles all these placements In case of limited collage placement the collage still supports students by improving their employability thorough workshops internships and guidance

Likes

The facility are highly experienced and cooperative.
Regular organising of master classes, workshops, activities, etc.
Campus is well equipped with facilities like computer labs, seminar hall, etc.

Dislikes

No night life , focus is more on attendance and punctuality

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated training and placement office which provides excellent internships as well as placement opportunities. Various companies visits our campus like Amazon, Wipro, Times, etc generally around 85% of the students who opt for got placed. The average package varies from 5 to 6 lakhs. I have done various certification courses like life skills and personality development. The placement cell of my college is very active. Pooja Ma'am also takes regular workshops on Cv building. Our seniors were well placed by my college, and also praise the placement team of our college that helped them to reach their career goals and destinations. Pooja Ma'am personally guided me to build my CV atleast 5 times that made my profile academically suitable.

The office staff is very good and helps in every problem that is faced by a child and provides solution for that.
The teachers are supportive and helps students with great conceptual lectures.
The campus has a huge area and gymnasium and big grounds are available for physical fitness and games.

Dislikes

The toilets are not clean and it should be taken care of because it looks very unhygienic.
There are some students who come to college just for making the environment bad and also the College ID is not checked so anyone can enter the campus easily.
The fans and benches for students are very old and should be changed because it cause discomfort for the students.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, the students are eligible for Placements. Wipro TATA INFOSYS Accenture ICICI bank Mahindra Are the some companies where studets gets placed. It think the highest package was 20 LPA and lowest package is 2.4 LPA. 25- 30 percent students are placed. My plan is to persue MBA after getting the BBA degree while doing a job.

BBA is the professional course which give you exposure to learn about corporate world so anyone who wanted to do business and work in corporate line can join. The faculty is also very good here all the faculty are holder of doctorate degree. The difficulty of term exam is not very hard if you have studied then can get pass very easily

choosing college is one of the biggest decision we makes.When I was looking at option in and around locknow,I applide to a few big names like AMITY UNIVERSITY ,BABU BANARSHI DAS UNIVERSITY AND SRMU.Here is my personal take on why i choose SRMU because When i compared my options, I looked at three main things ROI (value for money), campus vibes and academic pressure. Amity has high fees and have top MNC but very high competion on other hand SRMU has moderate fees and have strong mass recruitment.
