My Experience at GITAM University Hyderabad

The curriculum is relevant from the second year of college covers all the latest subjects and has a good theory part, It is moderately connected to real-world applications and few subjects of the curriculum are not that useful in real life for CSE, Course curriculum can be improved by taking student feedback in college and can be made more interactive exams are conducted frequently and intimated well in advance and their difficulty is also moderate

A few companies for internships include Google, Microsoft, Deloitte,Tech Mahindra,salesforce, and Rinex and stipends vary from 10000 to 75000, many projects include building websites for student clubs and contributing to open source projects and many AI chatbots

From the 7th semester students are eligible for placements and they provide training companies like Amazon , alphabet ,TCS , Wipro ,HCl,ICICI and around 400 offers were made, Highest package was 18LPA and the average was around 4.1 LPA. around 70% of students got placed, even I plan to get a placement through college

For the 2022 admitted batch fee is constant for all four years of engineering it is 329000 for the 2022-2026 batch, They provide merit-based scholarships based on the GITAM entrance exam 15%,25%, and 50% and Financial AID scholarships if Income tax returns are shown. they provide hostels at 145000 for 1 academic year and they provide transport buses and bus fee is based on distance with a minimum of 30000 and maximum of 80000. Students cannot take campus employment roles

The annual Fest named "PRAMANA" is conducted every February and it is conducted on a huge scale, there are around 30000 collections of books and journals in library, many classrooms have great facilities like wifi, smart projector and latest computers and air conditioner, an overview of sports is that they encourage talents in sports and have all facilities like cricket,football, basketball,table tennis and many more, there are many student-run groups and NGOs that build leadership qualities

Anyone who has done class 12 in math, physics, chemistry are eligible for Btech in CSE, The application form can be found on the Gitam website and application fee is 1500 and the application dates are in phases May, June, and July. no reservation benefits can be availed, we can choose the slot for the exam and the frequency of the exam happens once in every phase and questions are moderately difficult, admission process is smooth if done before deadlines

The faculty are well qualified and almost all have MTech degrees and many have PhD, Faculty to student ratio is good and the faculty is easily approachable for any problems, they use the latest methods for teaching and their approach is unique, they provide a mentor for every 25 students who are easily approachable at any time, we can interact at any time when they are available, We can choose our Faculty from a set of faculties, Overall in terms of faculty its great
