The curriculum is very relevant and upto date. The exams and assignments test our intellect and skills of our subject. The curriculum is same across all the colleges of the state. The curriculum prepares us for treating people of their illnesses. The theory seems to have a greater say in terms of evaluating a student than practical skills, changing this could do improve the students skills and relevance to the subject in my opinion. Exams are conducted every three months and they are hard.

The college gives a mandatory 1 year internship at the hospital for which we get paid about 25-30k per month. This internship is after the 4th year of MBBS. The internship includes varies departments ensuring a complete exposure to clinicals before graduation.

In first year the fee is 30k. From next year it is about 15k. There are usually no hikes. There are however penalties of breaking lab equipment. The complete cost of my education will account to about 20-30k per annum including all fees. State scholarships are available and they pay for the tuition and hostel fee only.

College fest in September, freshers party which varies when it's held, Holi party, rangoli events, other festive events. Every book we ever need will be found in library and they are always available because people mostly look up pdfs on tabs and mobiles. There are sports clubs, events and daily sport activities. There are research clubs are sports club which are the main clubs and rest of the clubs haven't really took off yet.

A bed and a cupboard are provided when joining the hostel. Three people per room in first year and it changes as we progress. Meals in mess are average and of local cuisine. Hostel costs 20k per year while mess costs around 50k per year.

You should have completed your 10+12th mandatory education, with biology as major in 12th. Then we have to give neet ug entrance for eligibility to join this college. A fee of 12k is needed for the university fee, which includes the counselling fee and such. People with reservations can avail them by submitting respective documents. Neet exam isn't that difficult but the huge competition makes it harder to get a seat.

The faculty to student ratio is around 30. All the faculty are very qualified and have multiple years of experience in both teaching and practicing medicine. They integrate clinical cases while teaching which are very interesting and useful for the students. Professors are very approachable and encourage students to ask questions. We interact with them every day.
