Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is not relevant as per today's requirements. Most of the things taught here are the syllabus which was the same as 10 years ago. The curriculum is okay. The exams are held on time and the difficulty level differs from time to time but is okay type.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Basically, there aren't many opportunities provided here. Some that are offered are generally the local companies or some with very less stipends. Based on your course generally the opportunities are offered. So most people here look for outside opportunities, off-campus placement, or internships.

Placement Experience

2

If you are confident enough that you will get the job on your own without the college interference or off campus you can opt for this, especially for those who don't want to leave their hometown i.e. Durgapur.

Fees and Financial Aid

Mostly the students of here are residents of here so get benefit by West Bengal schemes of higher education and accordingly the scholarships they get. The college has its own scholarship being provided by the trustees of here .ie. Asha Jyoti scholarship, which significantly helps students as I am among the beneficiaries of this scholarship. The tution fees is increasing surprisingly and drastically here like 1 LPA every year.

Campus Life

3

The campus life here is quite good , I mean if you are able to makes good amount of friends then it's all going to be fun . There is one fest every year in Feb month which lasts for 3 days including cultural, food and sports . The classrooms are not well maintained here you will get the vibe like you are at school. There are multiple clubs according to interest you can join anyone of them and they are quite active too.

Admission

Eligibility of the course: 12th pass with PCM I personally found out about this college via my friend and there is no such necessary condition for getting into this college, just you need to have a 12th pass with PCM and you are eligible for BTech here. The admissions here are not that messed up you will easily get admission here after all you know about the so-called private colleges.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is like okay, but again most the faculties teach students but students are that much interested so again most of the time get wasted. All the faculties are either passouts from near by places or post graduates . Some are highly professional and are PhD holders.
