- The Infrastructure of the university is very good, I like it the most in the University.
- I like the exposer which university gives us by organizing various events.
- The class rooms are good as there are AC's in all the classrooms in all blocks.
Dislikes
- I don't like the timing of university which is from 8:20 to 5:45.
- Also the food item price in the campus canteen is very high.
- Some extra subjects they also teach us which are not useful for us and there is no credit for those subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am pursuing Bachelor of Technolgy in Computer Science. So there are some courses in this program that you have to study but they will not related to your program and did'nt even help you in placements. They can also remove these courses but they don't so we have more subjects to study during exam. The difficulty level of exams are normal you can easily clear that if you study in class and do revision.
Internships Opportunities
There are various companies that visit campus for internships. Companies like TCS, Infosys they come for internships. The stipend they provide is 50000 to 1lackh per month. You have to make good real world projects and have a good command on DSA.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester you can apply for internships and even also from 4th semester you can apply. The university also provide you with the campus placement. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Adobe, vists the campus for placements. the average package is 5lackhs and the highest package of this is 44lakhs. Almost 95% students placed from Galgotias University.
Fees and Financial Aid
The program fee of BTech in Computer Science is 1,64,000 per year as of now, it may be increase from next session, this 164000 lac divides into 2 aspects as Tution fees which is 1,49,000 per year and Examination fees 15,000 per year, there is 1000 rupees of University ID card which is one time fee and 2000 rupees of Caution fee which is one time. Galgotias University also provide Scholarships to students in sports, acedemics, from CUET, 12th marks.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing, the student council organizes many events, fests, DJ nights, Cultural Fest, and many more events. The Unifest is the Cultural fest of Galgotias University it is of 2-3 days from 9am to 11pm. Many Artists and Celebrities come to the campus for there movie promotion. University organize many technical hackathons every month. There are almost 10-12 clubs in galgotias university.
Admission
Eligibilty criteria to take addmission in Btech in CSE is you must have 60% marks in your 12th standard in (PCM).There is no entrance exam of University you can directly take the addmission in respected program if you fit in the eligibilty crietria. You can apply for addmission by fill up the application form from the official website of Galgotias University, and university will verify it mail you from documents verification in next 25 days.
Faculty
The faculties of galgotias university are good. They are having the knowledge what they are teaching, and all the faculties are done their graduation or post graduation from IITS NITS like colleges and many of them have done their Phd. Faculties interact with students in class as well as outside also, they'll wil clear all your doubts if you have any, if you have any other problem beside from study they all will listen and gives you good advice.
