SMPIC College- An overall grooming experience

The course curriculum was nice but it felt a little outdated. The college tried their best to teach us with the latest of information and current affairs using various case studies but sometimes the study material provided by the college did not have the most updated affairs that we could study from.

I did not take up any internship during course as i was laready working with a company but some of my friedns took internships with stock broking companies also where the were working as data analysts with a stipend of about 10-12k per month. They got to learn alot about the market and got hands on experience in the field.

the college conducts campus interviews and many companies visit the campus and many students get offer letters from the companies. generally companies like TCS offer roles like back office executive or data analyist or tele caller. the average package according to my knowledge is i think 3.6-4LPA. The college gives a 100% support to the students in terms of campus placement as well as outside job interviews. The faculties help students with the interview training.

the tuition fee is very nominal and economic considering the reputation of the institution and all the opportunities that they provide. the college also gave us a lot of opportunities and exposure by arrainging fests and extra curricular activities that helped in overall grooming of all the students. The employment opportunities provided by the college are also fairly good. companies like TCS had conducted interviews on campus.

the overall experience was good. many cultural fests and competitions were conducted throughout the duration of the course and many trophies and medals were also won by students. there were also many clubs that were formed by the students.

we did not need to take any entrance exams and the admission process was based on merit from the 12th standard marks. The application fees were deducted lateron from the full fees and we had to pay a deposit at the time of admission. there are also many more courses available apart from bcom and they also offer dual specialization and other extra certificate courses like international business and certificated courses affiliated with various abroad universities

Even if the faculties very hugely outnumbered by the students, all of the faculty members were always available for the students and any doubts that they might have. All the faculties have a PHD degree and are very highly educated and intelligent.
